It’s been an exciting time at intu Watford, with new retailers opening their doors in the stunning new development. Things kicked off on September 27 with the opening of our 3-storey, brand-spanking new Debenhams. Home to stylish designer fashion, leading beauty bands, Loaf & Bloom deli kitchen and a Pinkster gin bar, it’s not one to miss out on!
Swiftly after the launch of Debenhams, British retailer Jack Wills opened it's doors opposite. This is the brands first store in Watford, and proved to be hugely popular with customers young and old.
International retailer H&M moved from the current centre in to a fantastic new unit in the extension on October 18. The Swedish brand is now home to two floors of quality, on-trend and sustainably produced fashion for men, women and children.
On the other side of the mezzanine, Superdry also opened its doors on October 18. The brand is known for fusing American classics with Japanese–inspired graphics, incorporating clothing, accessories and sportswear for men and women. Superdry’s contemporary clothing has already proved to be a favourite with the public and is set to add a new dimension to fashion in Watford.
On Wednesday 24 October, YO! Sushi opened in Watford for the very first time, serving delicious fresh fish and Japanese street food from its famous, self-serve conveyor belts. This has been a huge hit, offering a cuisine that has not yet been accessible to Watford shoppers.
On December 6 we welcomed BOSS to the extension, followed by American crowd pleaser TGI Friday's on December 10. Plus in December the new nine-screen IMAX Cineworld and Hollywood Bowl opened, just in time for the latest Christmas blockbusters.
And yet still there’s so much more to come. Look out for news soon on our next sensational openings, including The Florist, G-star RAW, Veeno wine bar and Cote Brasserie.
