Car lovers are in for a treat as a range of luxury cars is set to go on display here this October and November.

We've teamed up with local dealership Sytner Nottingham which will showcase a number of the very latest BMW and MINI vehicles and merchandise in 2 pop-up shops between 19 October and 30 November.

Nigel Wheatley, general manager at intu Victoria Centre and motoring enthusiast, said he was particularly looking forward to the fashionable cars going on display at the centre.

He said: “This is a first for the centre – we’ve never brought cars into shop units before – and we are really excited to be able to put such a great range of vehicles on display.

“It’s going to be a really different way of displaying the cars to our customers and we’re sure that they’re going to be as pleased as we are to have such an impressive selection on show.

“The cars that will be coming into the centre are highly desirable and will fit really well with the aspirational fashion brands we have here at intu Victoria Centre and our customers, so we’re sure they will be very popular.”

Sytner Nottingham will be displaying the futuristic BMW i3 and i8 – both electric vehicles – as well as the manufacturer’s first ever purpose-built seven seater, the BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer. Also on display will be the new 3 Series and the M235i – a powerful twin-turbo 2 Series Convertible complete with all the available M-Performance add-ons.

From 27 October customers will also be able to take a peek at the brand new X1, which will be launched to market just three days beforehand.

The dealership will also have the very latest MINI three and five-door hatchbacks on show as well as a Countryman. From 27 October, the Countryman will be replaced with the brand new MINI Clubman – a completely new model range for the manufacturer.

Matthew Kidd, head of sales at Sytner Nottingham said: “We’re really excited about being able to share our fantastic range of BMW and MINIs with everyone in a fun and relaxed environment, along with a range of toys, lifestyle items and BMW / MINI merchandise available for customers to treat themselves to.

“intu Victoria Centre is the perfect partner for us in this innovative new venture – and I wonder who will be first able to say ‘I’ve just bought my car from the new Sytner Nottingham shop, upstairs at intu Victoria Centre!’”
