Job description: The job holders key aim is to help the Marketing Team deliver compelling marketing campaigns that drive footfall, visit frequency and dwell-time, as well as retailer sales and market share for the shopping centre, whilst consistently working for the benefit of intu.

Key Objectives: Support the Marketing Team by helping to deliver the annual business plan and marketing plan in line with the overall strategy for the centres and intu. Help develop event strategies and implement event activity in line with campaign objectives and those of the wider intu group.

Ensure effective event management in line with Health & Safety guidelines, manage agency relationships and deliver clear communication to all teams. Deliver events with a difference at intu Broadmarsh and intu Victoria Centre, in line with agreed campaign and event plans. Review event activity, providing clear highlights and learning for onward communication to key stakeholders.

Briefing and liaison with external agencies, to produce creative and compelling advertising, PR digital and promotional advertising campaigns that will drive footfall and repeat visits to the Centre.

Build strong relationships with retailers to drive content for marketing activity and events, provide retailer support for general marketing enquiries.

Assist with the organisation and the management of internal events and promotions through liaison with external organisations and other departments. Demonstrate written communication skills including creative writing to produce centre literature and succinct updates for internal reports.

Help the Assistant Marketing Manager to ensure that all marketing communications, including collateral produced to for retailers, consumers, local community stakeholders, CR partners or commercial partners is in line with intu's brand guidelines and are approved through the correct Brand Lab approval process.

To assist with the successful delivery of the PR programme. Help to drive and improve communications between retailers and centre management by providing effective support for in-centre retailer activity.

Where appropriate, to plan and implement a strategy, in line with the business and marketing objectives, for the centre's kid's club.

Ensure that regular centre and intu reporting timescales are met, including monthly reporting and KPI monitoring.

Manage centres intranet content and other internal communications to showcase events and activities taking place at the Nottingham centres.

Work closely with the digital marketing coordinator to ensure offline and online communications are complementary and consistent across both centres ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Diligent budget tracking and purchase order management.

Provide administrative support to the local marketing team where required and work in conjunction with all intu colleagues to maintain consistently high standards within the centre.

Provide support to marketing team in monitoring competitor activity Any other duties as appropriate.

Key responsibilities:

To ensure compliance with Company's Health & Safety Policy.

To work collectively with other intu centres to identify examples of best practices across the intu group and then work together to roll-out these concepts within other centres.

To comply with corporate policies and procedures.

Event development, management and delivery- with some late night and weekend working.

Support the Assistant Marketing Manager in delivery of all marketing communications, centre literature and internal reports Diligent budget tracking and purchase order management.

Experience and qualifications:

Industry recognised marketing qualification (CIM or degree equivalent)

Proven marketing experience with demonstrable 1+ years in a previous marketing role.

Previous event management experience, ideally 1+ years.

Proven experience at delivering projects, to time and on budget.

Previous experience in copywriting.
