Location: intu Victoria Centre

Salary: £18,000 per annum, FTE

intu own and operate some of the biggest and well known shopping and leisure destinations in the UK. Our aim is to create a world class experience for our customers and our Business Support teams are essential to delivering Joy to our customers by supporting the operational team in the Malls.  intu Victoria  Centre is now seeking to employ a Finance Administrator to work within our Business Support team in our centre management office.

Reporting to the Business Support Manager, the Business Support Finance Administrator will be responsible for supporting and delivering a wide range of accurate and timely financial reporting. 

This will include:

  • Assisting when necessary with charity collections including public donation quarterly reporting.
  • Assist with the collation and input of data and reporting of CR activity in line with quarterly reporting timetable.
  • Processing of Centre income i.e. car park, bus station, bond payments and any other income associated with Service Charge, NPI and Marketing ensuring that all journals are raised in a timely manner to meet with monthly budget reporting timetable.
  • Assist in all aspects of the purchasing process including raising requisitions, purchase orders, goods receiving in a timely manner to meeting with budget reporting timetable.
  • To assist with the set-up of new suppliers adhering to the Supply Chain policy.
  • Invoice generation and income reconciliation including some cash handling and banking e.g. gift cards, car park, public donation and any other miscellaneous income.
  • Reception duties including telephone and face to face enquires, managing visitor systems room booking and guest arrivals, meeting room set up, including refreshments in a timely, efficient and friendly manner.
  • Assistance when appropriate with mall activities to assist with operation delivery.

Any other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time to meet business needs

To be successful in this position suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate experience, training and qualifications in finance and administration:

  • Good standard of maths and English
  • Strong financial awareness and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Strong computer literacy in Excel, word - with mail marge being of particular importance
  • Strong team ethic and driven to work to deadlines.
  • Good communication skills, with a customer focused approach to internal and external stakeholders

Candidates with experience in working in finance administration with accounts packages such as agresso would be at an advantage. In addition candidates that have formal finance qualifications or those that are working towards finance or business administration qualifications would be preferable.
