intu Retail Services is now seeking to recruit a Technical Services Manager to be based at our intu Uxbridge centre. intu Uxbridge is a consistently successful retail destination in a west London borough serving a catchment population that ranges from students to high-earning professionals.
Since opening in 2001, intu Uxbridge has revitalised the town's offer. With the intu brand above its doors and boasting direct tube links to central London, intu Uxbridge is a major retail and leisure destination at the centre of this active west London suburb.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and manage an in-house maintenance team multi-skilled technicians and trades, be an excellent communicator and a clear decision maker. In addition, the Technical Services Manager will have the ability to drive operational performance improvement ensuring that first class delivery of customer services is maintained. Candidates will be able to provide clear evidence of technical leadership on project coordination and project management as part of a wider team for major projects. This will include design, planning and implementation of a variety of projects including integration with IP technology.
It is anticipated that candidates will have a high degree of technical knowledge in the building services environment including an in-depth understanding across a range of electrical and mechanical equipment; lighting, CCTV, heating and air conditioning, power supply and general fabric maintenance interfacing with networking technology.
Candidates will be qualified to a minimum of HND/HNC or equivalent in a mechanical or electrical discipline and ideally hold membership of CIBSE. It would also be an advantage to have a good working knowledge of BMS, CCTV and CAFM systems.
