intu own and operate some of the biggest and well known shopping and leisure destinations in the UK. intu Uxbridge are now seeking to recruit an outstanding Business Support Manger, who as part of the Senior Centre Management Team will directly lead and manage a team of Business Support Coordinators and Assistants. As Business Support Manager you will use your unique and engaging ability to drive effective and efficient performance of the team ensuring to delivery of the business plan within agreed deadlines.
Reporting directly to the Uxbridge Operations Manager, but collaborating on best practice with our other Business Support Managers throughout the UK via the Head of Business Support, you will be able to demonstrate a well-rounded knowledge across a number of general business support disciplines. This will include possessing a strong financial background on accurately reporting on multimillion pound P&L's, budgets and forecasts, robustly managing procurement processes and supplier engagement, have a strong understanding of HR and payroll functions and being able to ensure that the Centre's compliance monitoring and management is sound. To achieve this you need to able to demonstrate the ability to lead and manage a diverse team during business change and work collaboratively with both the Centre Management Team, and wider stakeholders throughout the intu business.
Although not a pre-requite you may be part qualified/qualified in AAT, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent, however, candidates with a strong track record in finance management, procurement, compliance, administration and process are still encouraged to apply. The role offers a diverse portfolio of responsibility and opportunity, where, for example you will attend national Business Support Managers meetings but also become involved in the Duty Management of the Centre including some weekends and evenings.
