intu Uxbridge is now seeking to recruit a Building Services Multi Disciplined Engineer, to work on a 4 on 4 off, rotational shift pattern 5 out of 7 days, to be responsible for the delivery of reactive and planned preventative maintenance to the centre.
The suitable candidate will work as part of an in house technical services team carrying out maintenance to electrical systems, HVAC, fire alarms, air handling units, mains switchgear, lighting and BMS systems to ensure that operational effectiveness of the centre is maintained.
Suitable candidates will be required to maintain accurate site records and documentation and work with in the SLA and KPI's for breakdowns and repairs and adhere to health and safety policy at all times. In addition, candidates will also perform duties as directed in relation to fabric maintenance when required.
To be successful in this position it is anticipated that candidate's will be qualified and experienced in both mechanical and electrical disciplines holding an ONC in mechanical and electrical engineering or NVQ/City and Guilds (or equivalent), hold IEE 17th edition and BS2394, BS2395 in electrical testing and inspection.
Candidates will have at least three years' experience working in a building services maintenance environment and will be expected to demonstrate substantial knowledge of working across a wide range of building services equipment. Candidates will also be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of fault finding and diagnostics on electrical systems as well as knowledge of hot water systems, pumps and calorifiers.
