From the 17th of August to the 30thAugust intu Uxbridge wants you to enjoy an unforgettable round-the-world trip, where you can experience delights from different countries including China, Russia, Italy, India, Mexico and Africa, without even getting on a plane!

Learn to write your name as well as speak some basic Chinese phrases so you can impress all your friends when you go back to school in September.

16:00~16:40 Animals: names of different animals, (panda, monkey, bird etc.) and games to guess the animals.
Plus watch out for our fantastic traditional Chinese Lion who will be doing two performances each hour from 11-5pm on Monday. The dance, which imitates a lion's various movements and actions, will be accompanied by the music of beating drums and gong instruments.
Performances will run 10 past and 40 minutes past each hour, from 11-5pm.
Get your tutus at the ready for our Russian ballet workshops! Steeped in cultural tradition, ballet is at the heart of Russian heritage. Come along to learn the art and grace of Russian ballet and take away some basic ballet steps and routines.
11.30am – Performance from the dance school, plus workshops for children 4 – 7 years old
1.30pm - Performance from the dance school, plus workshops for children 7 – 9 years old
3.30pm Performance from the dance school, plus workshops for children 10 years old and over
Try your hand at creating your own artwork to take home with you, the more colourful the better! 11-5pm
Come and join us at the intu football training ‘ground’ and get stuck into our football training skills workshops, where you can pick up essential football skills from our friendly football coaches. Young visitors of all ages from pre-school to teen can enjoy learning football moves, tricks and coordination including: bleep tests, races, hurdle skills, ladder skills, football obstacle courses and dribbling techniques. 11-5pm
We couldn’t visit India without bringing you some expert Bollywood dancing. Come along to see some of London’s top Bollywood dancers, who will be on hand to do dance demonstrations and workshops for anyone interested in learning some techniques inspired by this traditional cultural dance.

Give yourself that authentic Indian look by getting a free Henna-style tattoo in the centre. 11-5pm
Young visitors can feel like a real Latino! Sombrero’s for the Niño‘s and Mexican hairstyles, compete with pretty flowers for the little Niña’s. Olay! Get dressed up in our Mexican-themed props and smile for the camera! 11-5pm
Our amazing face painters will turn little visitors into their favourite African animal! From fierce lions and playful monkeys to terrifying tigers and enormous elephants – it’s a jungle out there! 11-5pm
Our very own Gordon the Globe will be around the shopping centre to meet and greet children and hear all about your exciting adventures on Monday 17 August and Sunday 30th August, every hour 11-5pm. 11.50, 12.50, 1.50, 2.50, 3.50, 4.50 for 15 minutes
