This document clarifies the terms and conditions on which we issue membership and that you become a member of our intu family club. Further details regarding the intu family club can be found on our website (search www.intu.co.uk/family-club).
Please read these terms and conditions carefully and make sure that you fully understand them, before registering for membership from our website and become a member of our family club. You should understand that by registering for membership of this club that you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1. Information about the intu family club
The family club is operated by intu Shopping Centres plc (we or us), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 02893329. Registered office address 40 Broadway, London, United Kingdom, SW1H 0BT.
2. Your Status
2.1 By joining the club you warrant that you are the legal parent or guardian of the children that you listed under your membership.
2.2 Each parent or guardian can join up to 6 of their children on any single membership. Each parent requires a valid email address to be able to join the scheme in order to receive key information about the club, its services and also to receive relevant offers or news updates.
2.3 All information supplied by you is true and accurate.
2.5 We will only use the data collected for the family club and it will not be used for anything else. Any personal data will not be passed onto any other company, data will be secured in line with current data protection legislation.
2.6 You may link to our family club home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it, but you must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists. You must not establish a link from any website that is not owned by you.
2.7 Where our site contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources, and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
3. Your membership with us
3.1 After joining the intu family club through our website we will send you an email to confirm your membership.
3.2. A verification email will then be sent to you to welcome you to the club, this email will contain a barcode which you need to take to the customer service desk at your local intu shopping centre, once the centres fully re-open again, to receive your intu family club membership pack.
3.3 Once the barcode has been verified you will be presented with your membership pack (one per family) which will contain your membership cards and an age appropriate gift for each child member. The membership packs and gifts are subject to availability and age restrictions apply to gifts. It is strictly one gift per child, with no alternatives available. Gifts are for children aged 18 months and over.
3.4 The intu family club is free to join so has no cash value.
4. Our partners and use of your membership card
4.1 Our current partners and their discounts/offers are shown on each intu centres website – please check the family club page of your local intu shopping centres for more details.
4.2. As a member you receive special offers and discounts from participating retailers, restaurants and leisure operators within intu centres. These offers may vary per centre, to check the current offers please visit your local intu centre website and search under family club. To redeem the offer please show your family club membership card at the till. Offers are for in store redemption only and are not valid online on either intu.co.uk or the specific retailer websites.
4.3. Family club membership cards can only be used by the named member or the members of each specific household and are strictly non- transferable.
4.4. On occasion, we will remove or amend offers or promotions provided by our retailers. We will endeavour to replace them although we shall have no liability for any such withdrawals or changes to the availability of an offer. Please remember to check your local intu centre website for the latest offers or promotions regularly.
4.5. Any printed material that you may receive from us which provides information about offers available from our retailers were correct at the time of printing and are subject to change.
4.6. To be valid when presented for exchange, your membership card must be intact and not damaged.
4.7. We are not liable for any of our retailers that refuse to honour the advertised discount or promotion.
