Zanussi ZEI6840FBA Induction Hob
About this product
A perfect, entry-level, standard size hob for smaller households, the Zanussi ZEI8640XBA Induction Hob can be operated from the normal 13Amp mains electrical supply. Thanks to its clever easy-touch controls and digital display, you can rely on up to 3kW of heat at the touch of a finger for perfect cooking every time. Flexible cooking Four different-sized cooking zones on this hob are suitable for pots and pans with a variety of dimensions, for easy, flexible cooking. The self-sizing cooking zones adapt to the size of the pot in use and include a dedicated zone for classic Moka coffee pots. As a result, it takes minimal time to make a real Italian espresso. Two of the heating zones also have a Power Boost feature that speeds up the cooking process. Easy cleaning Induction technology delivers heat direct to the pan, leaving the hob surface cool to the touch. That means spillages don't burn on the hob surface, and can be safely mopped up during cooking. And because the surface is as smooth as glass, it can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth. Cookware guide Induction hobs do need to be used with cookware made from the correct materials. These include cast iron, steel, enamelled steel, stainless steel, and pots and pans made of some multi-layer, sandwich construction. A rule of thumb is that if a magnet sticks to the bottom of your pot, it can be used on an induction hob. Please also only use pans suitable for induction hobs. These include enamelled steel, iron, stainless steel (depending on the alloy) and some aluminium pans with a ferromagnetic base. Glass and copper bases are unsuitable. Please note: there should be a minimum height clearance of 65cm between an electric hob and the cooker hood above it.
