Following on from an incredibly successful AW13 debut, Savile Row tailor Patrick Grant’s Hammond & Co. range at Debenhams is officially the most successful debut menswear designer collection in the brand’s history. Now into its third season, the collection is rolling out to an additional 60 stores including Debenhams at intu Potteries.
Returning once again with his triumphant Hammond & Co. collection, Grant offers up beautifully cut blazers and waistcoats in checks and stripes. Outerwear comes in the form of quilted gilets, the classic mac and a beautiful blue wool overcoat, aptly named ‘Victory’. Drawing upon new influences to create a fresh aesthetic, a sharp wax jacket in forest green, bridges the casual/formal gap and provides a more traditional day to night piece.
Heading into the winter months, knitwear becomes a must-have. Hammond & Co. provides warm Autumnal shades such as mustard and tomato red, with thick cable knit cardigans, bird print jumpers and fairisle Grandad tank tops bringing character to the urban man’s wardrobe. Debenhams knitwear reflects trends seen across the catwalks, with an emphasis on roll neck jumpers, military greens and stripes. A brand new addition to the collection this season is ‘Sportshall’, a small edit of leisurewear including; striped Henley tops, jogging bottoms and a knitted bomber jacket.
Debenhams’ suiting continues to go from strength to strength and provides the very best in contemporary tailoring at affordable price points. This season’s offering displays the ultimate in modern gentleman dressing, with a 2-piece grey check suit from Hammond & Co. being a definitive highlight; made purely from British cloth. The diamond of the entire range comes in the form of an exquisite midninght blue tuxedo complete with velvet loafers; the ultimate evening wear look this party season.
Ranging from £14 for a chic pocket square to £299 for a beautifully cut suit, the collection is now available at Debenhams at intu Potteries.
