Following a string of new brands signed up since the completion of the £20million leisure extension at the end of 2015, intu has announced that Next has renewed its lease at intu Potteries in Stoke-on-Trent.
The brand has also earmarked additional investment for a refresh of the 28,000 sq ft store as part of its on-going retail strategy focusing on prime regional shopping locations across the UK.
A spokesperson from Next said, “intu has a clear vision for intu Potteries which makes the shopping centre the right location for us in the city. intu’s focus on delivering the best customer experience means we can be confident in attracting the very best footfall. It’s these results which have meant that investing in our presence at intu Potteries wasn’t a difficult decision for us. We look forward to more successful years with intu.”

Alongside Next’s renewal, intu has also announced the renewal of several leases with the Arcadia Group, including brands such as Topshop, Topman, Burton and Miss Selfridge.
New Look Men, H&M and Smiggle are just some of the latest brands to join intu Potteries as it continues to enhance its retail offer after the successful launch of its £20m leisure and dining scheme. intu Potteries attracts 12 million visitors every year .
