The intu Potteries team wants to hear from local registered charities from Staffordshire and South Cheshire who wish to apply for a project-based donation.
We are an integral part of our community providing a place to meet, eat, drink, socialise and be entertained and we like to engage with local charity and community organisations. We are committed to making a difference in our community.
We are rolling out our 2017 community engagement programme and want to hear from local charities with exciting projects in hand this year. Our own initiatives generally cover areas such as education and training, retail based work experience, mentoring for young people and supporting community involvement with green spaces near our UK centres.
Every year intu Potteries donates funds to the work of local charities. Last year we donated to: DEAFvibe, AED donate, Shropshire and Staffordshire Blood Bikes, Love4Leah and Saltbox.
We are especially keen to hear from local registered charities who can tell us how they would spend the donation. This could be anything from using the donation to buy a vital piece of equipment or to fund a local initiative. We recognise that we have a role in building social togetherness and tackling social issues in our community.
