intu Potteries is now seeking to recruit a Maintenance Manager to oversee an in house technical maintenance team at this premier shopping centre in Stoke on Trent. The Maintenance Manager will be at the heart of ensuring the shopping centre is maintained to the highest standard and that all our technical team provides the highest level of maintenance and customer service.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and manage an in-house maintenance team of multi-skilled technicians, fabric trades and apprentices, be an excellent communicator and a clear decision maker. In addition, the Maintenance Manager will have the ability to drive operational performance improvement ensuring that first class delivery of customer services is maintained. Candidates will be able to provide clear evidence of technical leadership of planned and reactive maintenance and ensure that all compliance is adhered to and that external contractors also maintain the level of professionalism when carrying our work in centre.
The role will also require some hands-on engineering skills and is ideal for a team leader or supervisory looking for the next step in their career into management.
It is anticipated that candidates will have a high degree of technical knowledge in the building services environment including an in-depth understanding across a range of electrical and mechanical equipment; lighting, CCTV, heating and air conditioning, power supply and general fabric maintenance.
Candidates will be qualified to a minimum of HND/HNC or equivalent in a mechanical or electrical discipline and ideally hold membership of CIBS and hold either, IOSH or NEBOSH certificates. It would also be an advantage to have a good working knowledge of PLC, BMS, CCTV and CAFM systems.
