From the 7th March there will be a large donation box located outside Clintons on the Upper Mall where shoppers can bring their unwanted clothes, accessories and paired shoes and put them in our donation box.
All items will be donated to the Dougie Mac to be sold in their 20 shops across Staffordshire. So have a sort out and bring us your unwanted clothes.
Everyday Douglas Macmillan Hospice provides all hospice services free of charge to adults with life limiting illnesses in the North Staffordshire area and also provides supportive care for their families and carers. This would not be possible without the commitment of a multi disciplinary team of staff and volunteers who are vital in ensuring the services continue at the hospice and out in the community.
The hospice is committed to expanding and improving its services. Always striving to deliver the very best quality of care to meet the ever changing needs of the local community . We are working hard to deliver the most appropriate care closer to home, which encourages the development of patient choice and independence, so our patients may achieve the very best quality of life, at a time when they need it most.
We must not forget the hospice needs to raise in excess of £11 million this year to maintain the services, with 75% of the money raised coming from voluntary donations.
