intu Milton Keynes is delighted to welcome its newest store, STA Travel, which opened its doors on Thursday 24 September.
STA Travel is the world’s largest student and youth travel company; the opening in Milton Keynes is an important milestone for the company as it broadens its reach in the region, and takes the total number of UK stores to 54 - three of which have opened this year.
Jackie Knell, STA Travel sales director, commented: “STA Travel caters for everyone with a passion for travel: from students, to young professionals, to the young-at-heart traveller. Our new Milton Keynes store is the ideal place to start your adventure.
“For more than 35 years we have offered market-leading prices including our unique ‘blue ticket’ student and youth airfares. Thanks to our global buying power, our well-established relationships with airlines and tour operators, and our incredibly knowledgeable staff, we are the very best people to help you plan your travels from a round-the-world adventure, to a trek to Macchu Picchu, to a volunteering project in Brazil.”
The new store is overseen by manager Joanne Norris and her team of travel experts.
Shelley Peppard, general manager at intu Milton Keynes said: “We are thrilled to have STA Travel as a part our centre; the store looks fantastic and the team are incredibly friendly and so passionate about travel.”
To celebrate the opening of the new store, STA Travel has £1000 in travel vouchers up for grabs. To enter the prize draw, simply go to the intu Milton Keynes store and fill in an entry form before 23 October 2015.
Launch offers for STA Travel Milton Keynes include return flights to New York from £279, return flights to Bangkok from £289, and return flights to Sydney from £529; up to £100 off worldwide tours; and more than 50% off campervan hire in Australia and New Zealand.
Knell added: “We’re delighted to be continuing to expand our physical retail presence on the high streets of the UK. It’s an important part of our distribution strategy and one that is growing, rather than receding, despite the fact we are catering for the most tech-savvy travelling generation ever.
“When it comes to booking a bespoke long-haul trip, gap year or round-the-world adventure there really is no substitute for talking to professionals who have experience and knowledge of these destinations themselves.”
STA Travel will be taking part in the intu Milton Keynes Student Night on Thursday 8 September – pop by their branded campervan for to enter their exciting competition for the chance to win a pair of return flights to Australia! The store will be open until 8pm so if you want to find out more about STA Travel, or you want some help planning your trip, make sure you pop in and say hello.
