Willen Hospice joins intu Milton Keynes, One MK and Destination MK to officially launch MK Midnight Moo 2016.
MK Midnight Moo is a ladies only midnight walk that takes place across ten miles of redways to raise funds to support the end-of-life care given at Willen Hospice. This year’s Moo takes place on Saturday 16th July, once again starting and finishing at intu Milton Keynes.
Since launching in 2009, the fundraising walk has raised over £900,000 to support Hospice care in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. The team at Willen hope this will be the year that the total fundraising for Midnight Moo since launch hits over £1,000,000.
Paul Hinson, Chief Executive at Willen Hospice said “MK Midnight Moo is our biggest event of the year and the camaraderie and dedication seen on the night with over a thousand ladies joining together to raise vital funds for their local Hospice is wonderful. To continue to offer our care, we need to raise £7 every minute of the year and it’s only thanks to supporters, like the MK Midnight Moo walkers, that we can continue to offer the care we do.”
