This Christmas, intu Milton Keynes is supporting ITV’s nationwide Christmas campaign, Text Santa. The campaign supports the work of Macmillan Cancer Support, Make-A-Wish UK and Save the Children, with the money going towards funding nurses for those suffering from cancer, granting wishes to children fighting life-threatening conditions and helping those affected by crisis.
Nationally, intu is aiming to raise much needed funds and awareness to support ITV’s Text Santa appeal and therefore intu Milton Keynes, along with other intu centres across the country, is now fundraising for the campaign throughout December. The intu Milton Keynes team will be raising money by offering up their wrapping skills at the Christmas Gift Wrap Service on selected days.
The fundraising doesn’t stop there, throughout the festive period intu Milton Keynes will also be selling pin badges in centre, collecting donations at the customer information desk from those taking part in Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 18 December, and much more.
Shelley Peppard, general manager at intu Milton Keynes, comments: “We are delighted to be supporting Text Santa this year. It is an amazing campaign that changes the lives of thousands. We are extremely fortunate to have very supportive, charitable customers and we’re sure we will raise a significant amount over Christmas for the three charities.”
Text Santa this Christmas and give a helping hand to the people who need it most; to donate £5 text ‘intu5’ or to donate £10 text ‘intu10’ to 70760.
