To celebrate National Customer Service Week, intu Milton Keynes presented its top performing retailers with an award following a yearlong ‘mystery shop’.
On four separate occasions, each retailer was visited and marked on their customer service. The number one retailer with and incredible 97.25% was Lush. In second place was Ed’s Dinerette and third place went to the intu House Keeping team with 97%. New Look received an award for the ‘Most Improved’ retailer with an impressive increase in 24.17% on last year’s performance. Now, intu Milton Keynes is inviting the public to choose their ‘People’s Choice Award’ where the public can vote for the favourite store for customer service by visiting the Shopping Centre’s Facebook Page.
Martin Hindson, General Manager at intu Milton Keynes said: “Customer service is more important than ever in such a competitive market and I wholeheartedly believe in these mystery shops as it is a true reflection of the customer experience. As well as those that were awarded for their service, I was delighted to see the majority of stores performing above average.”
37 of the stores achieved over 80%.
As part of the Customer Service Week, intu Milton Keynes has staffed an information desk on the Mall where shoppers can receive a variety of information about intu services and information about the local area. Plus children can receive a free chocolate frog lolly and join the new Kids’ Club for free.
Customer Service Week ran from 6 - 10 October.
