Contractor Management and work permits
*Please note a minimum of £10 million Public Liability Insurance is required.
There are some changes to how contractors are to be managed at intu Metrocentre, relating to how contractors will gain access. (This replaced the Retailer Notification of Works form and put the onus on the contractor, rather than the retailer)
As of 5th August 2015, all contractor access into the centre will be controlled via an online system called Contractor Tracker (C Tracker).
C Tracker is a web based system that can be accessed from a variety of systems providing they have internet connection – including tablet and smart phones. It comprises of two stages which allows us to check the competence of contractors and also to ensure works carried out at our centre are as safe as possible.
The contractor should access the system on www.ctracker.co.uk/intu. Your contractors will be asked to register your company and the areas you may work in.
To make things easier, this stage will only need to be done once, to access all intu centres.
Your contractors will need to complete an access request 48 hours in advance of any visits to the centre. To do this, they will go back to the system and log on and click access request.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our designated helpdesk on 0191 493 0228.
At intu Metrocentre we have our very own chaplain - Canon Lyn Jamieson. To get in touch with Lyn call 0191 493 0259.
We employ a dedicated Sustainable Transport Manager who is available to provide advice on ways to reach the centre. To download a Public Transport Guide click here or to plan a journey by car.
