We’re so proud of our North East heritage that we have installed our story around the walls for customers can read about our journey when they visit.

“The past three months have given us time to reflect on our brand, it has also allowed our chefs to experiment and create delicious new treats for our customers to enjoy. We’re excited to share our new dining area with our regulars and welcome some new faces too.

For the first time, visitors to our café will be able to enjoy lemon cremeux, and spinach and cheddar pithiviers usually exclusively served on LNER, along with brand new ice cream flavours including black coconut and “beckle-billionaires” shortbread.”

Helen Atkinson, marketing manager at intu Metrocentre, said: “The renovation of the Beckleberry’s store is great, the café has been part of our centre for a long time and we’re thrilled to see the brand investing in the store. We’re excited to share this with our shoppers who must try the new delicious flavours created by the brand.”

The new café is now open for business and can be found at the upper blue mall in the centre, near Primark.
