Our intu Guest Services is situated in Lower Blue Mall at the base of the Bus/Train Station escalators leading into Blue Mall. All existing Customer Services facilities provided by intu will be based in the lounge alongside the brilliant intu Metrocentre Recruitment Team and Go Smarter Travel Coordinators. Partnering the centre in this fantastic new refit is Go Smarter, a sustainable transport campaign. Helping to fund the brand new lounge, their primary aim is to encourage customers, retailers and staff travel to work in a more sustainable way. intu Guest Services also allows shoppers at the centre a place to relax with the daily newspapers and surf the internet on our ipod bases.
intu Metrocentre's Style Team is here to help solve all of your shopping and fashion dilemmas! Our experienced team of Stylists are available for one to one consultations whether you want a brand new look, a gift, or something for a special occasion. For just £15 an hour you can utilise their expertise which includes a consultation over coffee to discuss what you want to achieve before you start shopping. Our Style Team know the centre inside out so can recommend the best stores to visit to find exactly what you are looking for.
The members of the team vary in age, style and experience allowing you to select a style advisor you feel best reflects your own personality. This service is not just exclusive to women - many of the team dress their boyfriends, husbands and dads so their expertise runs across the board. intu Metrocentre fun buggies are available for hire from all our customer service desks. There is a charge of £3.00 per hour to hire of a single buggy, or £4.00 per hour for a double buggy along with a returnable cash deposit of £10. Fun buggies are suitable for children aged over 12 months who are able to sit unaided whilst also meeting our maximum height restriction of 105 cm. Make sure you pick up a fun buggy driving licence from our customer services desks, collect a stamp each time you hire a you will receive your sixth hire for free.*
*Children must be over 12 months old and no taller than 105 cm. Management reserve the right to retract or amend at any time. No monetary value. Customers must receive a stamp from 5 separate fun buggy hires to qualify. Buggies are subject to availability and cannot be reserved.

Children’s pushchairs are available to hire free of charge from all Customer Services Desks (£20 refundable cash deposit needed). Pushchairs are suitable from birth to 3years old and have a maximum weight allowance of 15kg.

A user friendly ‘Shoppers Locker' service is provided at intu Metrocentre by ulockers limited. Lockers are currently located at two locations: Upper blue mall, near Greggs and lower Yellow Mall, behind the Customer Services Desk.
Lockers are available in two convenient sizes:
• Medium: ideal for most items of shopping, will take a large carrier bag or two with ease.
• Large: when you need that extra space for multiple items, or for storage of a rucksack or roller suitcase, great to share
Lockers can be rented for a period of 2, 4, or 10 hours (sorry, no overnight storage allowed). Once rented, lockers can be accessed as often as required at no additional cost.
Medium Locker: 2 hours £3.00, 4 hours £4.00, 10 hours £5.00
Large Locker: 2 hours £4.00, 4 hours £5.00, 10 hours £6.00

Any overtime is payable on return - your locker will remain securely closed. All rentals include up to £500 contents insurance cover (terms apply), and all our lockers are remotely monitored, covered by CCTV and alarmed for your peace of mind.
intu Metrocentre’s assisted changing facility is located on the Upper Red Mall close to Debenhams. The facility has a Horcher unilift track hoist, changing bench with shower and a lima lift toilet.
The facility is operated on a free of charge membership scheme. Membership is granted by registering at the red customer service desk on the ground floor. Please provide a valid form of ID (driving license, utility bill or passport) when registering. When joining you will be given a familiarisation tour of the facility and given a paper copy of the equipments instructions.
Please note that we do not provide slings and advise you to check with your sling manufacturer to ensure they are compatible. Due to the specialist needs of individuals intu Metrocentre staff are unable to provide assistance in the use of this facility. Carers and support workers are welcome to become members rather than the individual using the facilities.
A Shopmobility service is available on the 3rd level of the blue multi-storey car park and offers 32 electric scooters and 50 wheelchairs, plus 24 parking bays for members.

Wheelchair and rollator hire are free of charge but require a £10 cash returnable deposit. Leg extensions for wheelchairs are also available.
To become a member of the Shopmobility scheme there is a £5.00 annual membership fee plus a £2 daily hire fee for mobility scooters. Scooters and wheelchairs must be returned to Shopmobility no later than 15 minutes prior to closing time.
Only members of intu Metrocentre’s Shopmobility scheme can pre-book scooters. We advise you to pre-book a scooter up to seven days in advance to avoid disappointment. Non members can hire scooters, if available, on the day, with a £30 cash deposit and two forms of ID, one with details of current address. The non member daily hire fee for electric scooters is £4.00.
Customers must be aged 16 or over or be accompanied by an adult to hire any equipment. A copy of the Shopmobility membership form is available to download here.
We understand that for some people with autism spectrum conditions (ASC), sensory or additional needs a visit to a busy shopping centre can be a daunting experience. To help make your visit as enjoyable as possible, intu have been working in partnership with ‘The Percy Hedley Foundation and their team of autism specialists, to develop a number of helpful resources for individuals with autism and their parents/ carers.
We have developed a visual guide (aimed predominantly at children with ASC) and a detailed guide (aimed predominantly at parents/carer or adults with ASC ) to the centre, which aim to support you from the early stages of planning a visit, arriving at the centre, information about the amenities and what to do in an emergency.
We have also developed alert cards that can be used throughout your visit at your discretion along with awareness bands.
