During these challenging times we remain passionate about supporting our local community.
From providing one of our car parks for a mobile COVID-19 testing centre to supplying local care homes with PPE, here's what's happening...
Mobile COVID-19 testing
We've been providing one of our car parks at intu Merry Hill to the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) to create a pop-up mobile Covid-19 testing unit.
Operated by the armed forces, the unit offer tests for key workers in the local community, for essential workers as well as symptomatic elderly people and people with symptoms who cannot work from home, are eligible to be tested at the unit.
Donating PPE to local care homes
We've provided support where it is really needed by donating gloves, masks and hand gels to Walker Grange care home in Tipton, to help ensure they have PPE they need during this time .
It's just one of the ways we're helping and doing what we can at this difficult time.
Supporting mental health awareness
We've been encouraging people to be kind as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, by highlighting acts of kindness in the community during this challenging time.
For more information and support, contact our local charity partner Dudley Mind.
Essential stores remain open
intu Merry Hill sits at the heart of its community and provides access to vital services. As many of these essential services can only be reached through the centre, we will ensure all our visitors are able to access the services they need whilst supporting those retailers who need to stay open.
