With a space spanning over 5,500 sq. ft, the retailer will be offering women’s, men’s and children’s fashion and accessories that embrace Mediterranean style with a contemporary twist.
Mango’s range of high-street premium fashion from staple high-end basics to traditional tailoring, offers fashionable high-quality garments at an affordable price, which will be welcomed by young professionals and budding fashionistas in the area.
The announcement forms part of Mango’s plan to replace its smaller stores with larger ones throughout 2019 and intu Merry Hill’s commitment to enhancing customer experience and attracting new retailers.
It is the latest of more than 20 new and improved retailers to arrive at the centre in the past 12 months, with the list including luxury retailer Flannels and crowd favourites Next and Primark last year.
Next chose intu Merry Hill for one of its biggest stores in the country, and Primark expanded its flagship store at the centre by 70%. intu Merry Hill is also benefiting from a multi-million-pound investment to transform the external façade, which is the latest phase in cementing the centre’s position as one of the very best shopping destinations in the UK.
Robert Pickersgill, Marketing Manager, at intu Merry Hill said: “We know this new Mango store has been eagerly anticipated by our shoppers and we’re excited to be able to announce that it will be coming to the centre later this year. Our shoppers had expressed the need for more high-street premium fashion brands in the centre, and the new Mango will help us provide an even greater selection for our style conscious customers.
“With the new store at intu Merry Hill, Mango will be joining one of the largest shopping destinations in the West Midlands. By investing in a new store, Mango are taking advantage of the unique opportunity offered at the 1,400,000 sq. ft, centre and are creating a large store in a prime retail location.”
