intu Merry Hill will be kickstarting Christmas off this weekend with the return of the biggest character parade in the Midlands on Sunday 17th November.
The parades feature over 20 much-loved children’s TV characters, including Chase & Marshall, Bing & Flop, Cat Boy, Owlette & Gekko, Peppa Pig & George, Ben & Holly, Tinky Winky & Laa Laa as well as Peter Rabbit and Hey Duggee.
During the second parade, the centre’s spectacular, new Christmas lights scheme will be switched on, featuring a 45-ft tree as well as giant rotating decorations throughout the centre.
The parade will also feature a special appearance by none other than Santa Clause, as well as the centre’s hugely popular mascot; Marmalade the mammoth who will be joining in the festive fun.
Sarah Dodds, assistant marketing manager at intu Merry Hill, said: “Christmas is the perfect time for families to create happy memories together and our fantastic Christmas parade is a great way to help get our shoppers into the Christmas spirit and feeling excited for the big day.
“We’re looking forward to seeing lots of smiles on the day, especially when children spot Santa Clause, Marmalade and their favourite TV characters parading through the centre.”
