On Saturday 18 October, Legal & General will be at intu Lakeside Shopping Centre to find out what people struggle to talk about when it comes to life and specifically money.
Money is a topic of conversation that is often avoided, and Essex is no exception. Only 38% of people living in the East say they feel comfortable talking about money and their financial matters.* This makes it hard to plan for financial security in the everyday and in the long term.
Planning for the future begins with having the right conversations, which is why Legal & General’s Taboo Tent will be arriving in Essex to tackle the Great British Money Taboo.
The ‘Taboo Tent’ will be encouraging people to have money conversations with loved ones and Money Expert Annie Shaw will be on hand to give people the confidence to do so.
From savings and debt to pensions and inheritance, Legal & General will be sparking conversations that get people thinking about planning for the future.
