The Hall will bring together dynamic and independent food traders from across the South-East in a 14,500 sq ft sized site at one of the country’s most popular retail and leisure destinations, intu Lakeside. With six kitchens, a coffee shop, pop-up areas for food trucks and two bars championing British-made beers, spirits and soft drinks, this innovative, vibrant and diverse space will form part of the shopping centre’s 175,000 sq ft leisure extension.
The Hall at intu Lakeside has been designed for families, big groups, lone shoppers and couples alike, with an array of high quality, good-value dining options and relaxed seating solutions to suit everyone.
Familiar favourites from Market Halls in London, BaoziInn and Fanny’s Kebabs (think ruby prawn dumplings and vegan falafel salads respectively), will join brand new street food editions, Burger and Beyond, Fundi Pizza, Mother Clucker and Curry on Nannsstop.
Beyond the delicious food, The Hall guarantees an Instagram haven – think graffitied mirrors and Essex slogan walls.

BURGER & BEYOND
The local Essex boys behind Burger & Beyond first started trading on Colchester Market. Now with a London restaurant and several street food stalls under their belts, they’re bringing their premium beef burgers to the shoppers of intu Lakeside.
Fundi Pizza brothers, Charlie and Rory Nelson, hail from Maldon in Essex. Their menu will execute the basics with flare - think margheritas and Napolitanas, hand-stretched to order and baked for precisely 90 seconds in front of an open flame.
Infamous fried chicken tea brined, buttermilk soaked and twice battered. Fan favourites are by far the chicken strips and cajun fries, serving up a whopping 24k strips per month!
CURRY ON NAANSTOP
Introducing the recipes of Mumbai’s Koli community in Versova Koliwada. The menu will include Mumbai-style potato burgers called Batata Vada Pav and India’s most famous street- food – Chicken Tikka Naan Wraps and many more
Boaziinn menu consists of regional Northern Chinese cuisine with Sichuan and Hunan influences. His signature dishes include Ruby prawn dumplings in a beetroot dough, Dan Dan noodles and a variety of Jiaozi dumplings. intu Lakeside shoppers can expect some brand-new editions to the menu including BBQ pork rice with chef’s special soya sauce and house braised egg.
Reliably tasty, Fanny’s short menu features quality salads and kebabs, from lamb to vegan falafel options, served as a choice of classic wrap, rice box or salad.
