Thameside’s Colourful Festival of the Arts

See the cast of the 2019 pantomime Dick Whittington with guest appearance from Love Island and Dancing on Ice, Wes Nelson.

On Saturday 27 July the Thameside Theatre will bring a free colourful day of entertainment to The Quay here at intu Lakeside!

The entertainment will run from Midday to 8pm and includes a vast selection of acts from Bollywood dancers to Circus performers as well as lots of local talent.

The cast of the 2019 pantomime Dick Whittington will appear at 4.10pm with the first appearance of Wes Nelson star of Love Island and Dancing on Ice.

Join in with the fun and excitement of the day.  Dress up, sparkle, shine, dance and sing along in a beautiful open air showcase.

1:15pm Thameside Young Producers  - A show of support  to PRIDE and Dementia awareness Theatrical Youth Group supported by Thameside Theatre.  Lead Producer Franki McEwen.
1:30pm Showtime Circus Performance Circus school from Hertfordshire.  Founder Jessica Antelope Hill
1:40pm Isabelle Byrne  - Singer Student from Italia Conti and member of TYP.
1:45pm Bollywood Vibes Dancers Professional Bollywood performers from London.

2:40pm Kayleigh Hendle – Singer/Song Writer Singer/Song Writer from Corringham.  Kayleigh’s new single ‘You Got It’ will be released on social media platforms on 9 August.
3pm Bollywood Vibes - Dancers Professional Bollywood performers from London.
3:10pm Molly Perry – Singer Member of TYP
3:15pm Golden Voices – Over 50’s Choir A fun choir aimed at over 50’s.  Based in Grays.
3:35pm TOPs on Stage – Extract from Cinderella Local amateur musical theatre group based in Grays.
3:55pm Lightnin’ Drama and Thunder Productions – Musical Theatre Musical Theatre group based in Rainham.  Principle Sue Ospreay
4:05pm Opening of the evening entertainment Josh will introduce Thurrock’s Deputy Mayor Cllr Sue Shinnick who will open the evening’s entertainment alongside Howard Oldstein, Centre Director and MP Jackie Doyle Price who will then invite the Pantomime cast onto the stage.
4:10pm Pantomime cast including Star of Love Island and Dancing on Ice Wes Nelson and Thurrock’s favourite Dame Luke Coldham The cast of 2019’s pantomime Dick Whittington take the stage with a little taster of this year’s production by Polkadot Pantomimes.  The cast will remain until 7pm to have photos and meet the audiences.
4:40pm Thameside Young Producers invite you to join in with… This is me! Josh will introduce A celebration of “its” ok to be who you want to be!
4:55pm JTD of Performing Arts – Street Dance High energy street dance performers from Grays.  Principal Vickki Jarmyn.
5:15pm Franki McEwen and Harry Westerman – Singers Members of TYP
5:30pm Anna-Marie Childs – Acoustic Performance A local singer song writer from Grays performing with her keyboard.
6pm Efua Sey Cultural Academy – African Street Performance Professional speciality act celebrating African culture from London.
6:30pm Isabelle Byrne and Harry Westerman – Performance from Phantom of the Opera Members of TYP
6:35pm Amy-Louise Hayward – Singer Blues singer from Grays.
6:45pm The Knightingales – 1940’s/50’s Close three part harmony trio Professional Group.

7:20pm Josh Jennings – Swing Performance Compare for the evening and swing singer from Corringham.
7:35pm Evie Ivory – Singer Professional singer with a selection of up tempo tunes.

8:05pm Tribute to Les Mis by Thameside Young Producers A moving performance  to end the evening by TYP.
