Running low on phone battery? We have free phone charging stations around the centre for your convenience. You can find them on Level 2 in the Customer Service Lounge (by M&S) and on Level 3 in The Eatery.


For your convenience, lifts are located on all floors. You can find them in the Central Atrium, next to House of Fraser and next to Debenhams.


Our clean, spacious toilets (and disabled toilets) can be found on Levels 1 & 3 of the centre.
You'll find them on Level 1 beside House of Fraser and Debenhams at either end of the centre. You'll also find them in The Eatery on Level 3 next to Primark.

Cash machines

You can find cash dispensers in the following locations:

  • On the external wall of HSBC, Level 1
  • In Marks & Spencer, Levels 1
  • On the outside wall of the main entrance by Car Park 12, Level 1
  • Outside McDonald's, Level 1
  • On the external wall of Santander, Level 2
  • On the external wall of Barclays, Level 2
  • On the external wall of Halifax, Level 2
  • Outside Kanoo Financial Services, Level 2
  • On Brompton Walk, next to Luminis, Level 2

The Chapel is a quiet place of worship, away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping centre – and offers people of all religions somewhere quiet to reflect, pray or simply relax. The Chaplaincy service is available to everyone at intu Lakeside and caters for people of all faiths and backgrounds.

Find the Chapel on Level 3 near the public toilets.  It's open throughout intu Lakeside's normal shopping hours, so feel free to visit any time you like. Alternatively, you call the Chaplaincy Office on 01708 450083.

Personal Shopper

Need a bit of style inspiration? If you’re looking for some top tips on how to look great then our personal stylist service will prove very helpful! It’s completely free and an independent service which includes a consultation of up to 30 minutes, followed by an hour and a half of shopping with your stylist. All designed to help you find what styles, colours and cuts suit your shape, personality and budget.

Disabled toilet facilities

We have multiple disabled toilets to make your experience at the centre hassle-free. You will need a radar key to access these, which can be found with the nearest member of intu staff or for hire at Shop Mobility in Car Park 10/Blue with the showing of a valid ID. You can find these on:

  • Level 1 next to House of Fraser and next to Debenhams
  • Level 3 in the The Eatery next to Primark

Assisted Changing Facility

intu Lakeside’s assisted changing facility is located on Level 2, at the end of Brompton Walk. The facility has a Horcher unilift track hoist, changing bench and a lima lift toilet. Please note that we do not provide slings and advise you to check with your sling manufacturer to ensure they are compatible. Due to the specialist needs of individuals, intu Lakeside staff are unable to provide assistance in the use of this facility. Carers and support workers are welcome to become radar key members rather than the individual using the facilities.

Disabled parking spaces

We also have 305 spaces reserved especially for disabled shoppers in Car Park 10/Blue, and other dedicated spaces in Car Park 3.

Shop Mobility

intu Lakeside has a dedicated Shop Mobility Centre. You can access Shop Mobility in Car Park 10/Blue on Level 1. Wheelchairs and other mobility options are available free of charge and staff are always on hand to offer specialist advice on your needs. You can take your pick from a range of standard and powered wheelchairs, as well as powered scooters. Valid ID will need to be provided, and will be kept by the Guest Services team during your use of the ShopMobility service, and returned to you when the equipment is returned. Please call to check for availability of equipment before arrival.

Please ensure you have a valid disabled blue badge on display when parking in one of our disabled spaces. But don't panic if you've left your badge at home or haven't got one, our Shopmobility Team can give you a temporary badge to use for the day - simply ask a member of staff.

*Please note that two forms of identification are required when hiring equipment from ShopMobility. Customers will also be asked to complete a disclaimer form when hiring equipment. Please contact a member of the team on 01708 869744 for details of which forms of identification are accepted.

**Please note, these times don't include holiday opening hours. Please speak to one of our lovely staff members about availability during Bank Holidays. Double slots can be booked if you need more time, subject to availability. A pre-booked hire can only be held for 1 hour after the original start time so please don't be late.

PaintChip specialises in repairing cosmetic damage to vehicles instead of replacing parts. Their ethos is to deliver a quality repair to a body shop standard at a competitive price and normally within a day. They carefully asses all jobs and unlike most body shops have skilled technicians who can repair where ever possible rather than you having to run to the expensive route of you unnecessarily having to replace a new door or wing. In most cases, the cost of the repair is less than your insurance excess.

Average repair time at intu Lakeside is 4 hours.

H2O Car Valeting

Need to get the car cleaned? Customers can simply drop off their vehicle at arrival before heading off to shop or dine, and come back to a freshly valeted car. Offering an impressive range of car treatments, H2O's friendly approach to customer service is the icing on the cake. Their fully-trained valeters also use top of the range Autoglym products to give your car that showroom look.

You can find H2O Car Valeting in Car Park White (Level 1), Car Park Green (Level 1) and Car Park Red (Level 2).

Lookers Mobile Servicing

If you need to get your car serviced, why not drop it off with Lookers and head off to enjoy the shops and leisure facilities at your own comfort. All work is carried out by Ford trained technicians, using the latest Ford diagnostic equipment & tools as well as genuine Ford parts.
