intu Lakeside has 13 car parks with 12,500 spaces, including disabled and parent and child spaces. Passenger lifts and escalators give easy access from each car park directly to the shopping centre. Disabled shopping bays are located in 4 of our car parks.
Motorbikes are welcome in the centre car park, and can be parked in any of the ground-level outdoor car parks, or alternatively in Car Park Green, Yellow and Mauve which have no barrier. Bicycles are not permitted within the centre, however bike racks are easily accessible and are located throughout the centre.
All our parking is free.
We’re spending £95 million on 173,000 sq ft of new and improved leisure facilities! As we continue to build this exciting new development we wanted to keep you in the picture with changes to our car parking areas.
Update: The next stage of construction is underway and to complete these works, Car Park Pink will be closed from 25 June for 13 weeks. The closest Car Park for Debenhams is Car Park Blue, and Car Park Green for The Boardwalk.

All our car parks provide easy, safe and direct access into the centre for shoppers with little ones. There are 38 Parent and Child spaces in Car Park Red, over Levels 1 & 2, plus 8 more spaces in Car Park 5.
We also have 305 spaces reserved especially for disabled shoppers inCar Park 10/Blue (behind Debenhams), and other dedicated spaces in Car Parks 3, 9 & 11.
We have changed the way that Electric Vehicle charging works at intu Lakeside. The SourceLondon network has been de-commissioned and we are now working with Chargemaster and their POLAR network to provide EV users with a more reliable and up to date charging network.
There are now 4 standard charging points located in Car Park 10/Blue (behind Debenhams) and we also have 2 rapid chargers in Car Park White and Mauve. The EV charging bays are painted green so that they are easy to locate.
You will need to be a POLAR member to use the charging points. More information about how to join the Chargemaster POLAR network is available at www.polar-network.com/join
If you would like to discuss this in more detail please contact intu’s Sustainable Travel Manager on 01708 869933.
If you've been food shopping, you'll find trolley parks throughout the car parks to return your trolley to once you have unloaded your shopping. Don't forget your £1 coin!
