We’ll be the first to admit that our go-to McDonald's order is a Big Mac meal, so we were pretty excited when we found out that now there’s a sneaky way to get a classic Big Mac and fries for just £1.99.
Yep, according to The Sun, McDonalds have launched a new scheme, which will allow you to bag a McDeal (sorry!). All you need to do is keep the receipt every time you eat or drink at Maccers. You’ll be given a unique 12-digit code on the receipt, which you will need to enter on their new website Food for Thoughts. Fill out a quick survey about your last meal and et voilà!
The website will give you a 5-digit code to write down on your receipt – this will then become your voucher to present on your next McDonald’s visit to grab a Big Mac and fries for £1.99. Normally, this combo costs £4.28, so this hack means you can grab it for less than half price.
If you’re not a Big Mac fan, McDonalds say you can use the voucher code for a Fillet-O-Fish or a Veggie Deluxe instead. Even better, this hack will work again and again: so every time you treat yourself to a McDonalds, you’ll get a new survey code.
