“I am working with intu Derby over the coming weeks as part of their welcome to our world campaign to showcase how great the shopping centre is for home and lifestyle lovers like me. I had a blast exploring the centre and must say, the staff in the shops there were the friendliest I have come across. Keep an eye out of my blog and Instagram for more including what I bought and how i'll be styling it up in my home. I can’t wait to share it with you.”
“Italy holds a special place in my heart as this is where I went on honeymoon and Carluccio's takes me back! I love the style and design of the restaurants - marble and brass are two of my favourites, but most of all I love the delicious food. It is authentic Italian at it's best in the UK. Stopping here for a coffee and a pastry is a great way to start a shopping trip! Of course I take any opportunity to browse the cookbooks - one of my favourite past times. I love to get inspiration from them and pore over the food photography.”
“Coffee, lunch and dinner is what Carluccio's is best known for but make sure you don't miss out on the breakfast. Eggs Royale is always my favourite and they are exceptionally delicious here. I always need a coffee to get me going in the morning but I try as often as I can to also have a freshly squeezed juice to get a head start on my 5 a day too. The green juice here was delicious and made me feel very smug and healthy!”. Buy Carluccio’s new cookbook here.

“Give me marble everything! The trend for marble started a few years ago and it shows no sign of stopping - in fact, I think it is gaining momentum. I loved these marble melamine plates and dishes which are perfect for outdoor entertaining and al fresco dining. I have my finger's crossed for a good summer this year in the UK so there will be lots of BBQs and picnics.”
“Succulents are a great way to add greenery to a home - it is one of my best styling tips to creating a lovely home and I like succulents in particular as they are so easy to look after. In fact, I find easier than cacti - which astoundingly I have been known to kill! Next Home now do some real plants and this mixed planter full of succulents is gorgeous. It takes away all of the effort of doing the planting yourself!” Buy your own mini succulent here.
“The spring time is the perfect time to get outside and spruce your outdoor area up after the long winter. I had my garden relandscaped last year after our house renovations had finished so I am taking extra time now to ensure it's going to look its best over summer. I absolutely love this little set up in M&S Home and can imagine sitting in a spot like this sipping a leisurely drink on a Sunday afternoon.”
“Candles, cushions and greenery - three of my favourite things all styled together in M&S! There is so much inspiration to be found in the way shops set up their displays and I always have a look at what is being paired together. The green glass and brass candle holders look great alongside the cushions with the green stripe.”
“Now is the time to get ready for BBQ season. If you don't have a big garden then one of the table top BBQs are the perfect compromise...and can you imagine taking one to the park or the beach? This summer I want to do more entertaining in the garden and can just imagine filling the beer drug with wine and beer for my guests to help themselves too! “
“Sticking to the entertaining theme, this display in Lakeland stopped me in my tracks! I tried these 'pop a ball' bubbles last year and didn't know where to buy them. They are really good fun and can be put in drinks from squash to gin - so much fun at a party and I think they would make a really great gift too.”
