You should be reliable, able to work on your own initiative and as a member of a team.  Good communication skills are essential for dealing with the general public and staff members from other sections of the facility. 

Duty Manager (Operations) 
£10.47 per hour
15 hours per week

Ideally candidates will have extensive knowledge and experience in the day to day operational, management of indoor sports facilities. 

A relevant Leisure Management qualification, First Aid Certificate and Sports Coaching qualifications would be desirable. Knowledge and experience of marketing and promotions, administration duties, financial management, activity booking systems, reception duties, computer skills, customer care and appropriate leisure quality management systems would also be advantageous.

Duties will include:-

•    The effective day to day operation of all aspects of the facility
•    Booking of facilities and extensive reception/financial management duties
•    Development and delivery of an effective programme of activities 
•    Supervision of centre staff and customers as required.
•    Effective promotion of facilities and centre activities.
•    Operation and control of associated plant and equipment as required.

You will join the successful management team, and will have specific responsibility for the efficient operation of Eldon Leisure.  You will have a dynamic and customer focussed approach, with excellent leadership, organisational and motivational skills that will continue to develop and realise the full potential of the centre as a whole.

Fitness Assistant
6 month contract (Subject to review thereafter)
£6.83 per hour
15 hours per week

Duties will include:-

•    Assisting in improving customer physical health and wellbeing
•    Maximising membership sales through facility tours, promoting facilities and ensuring that the customer journey remains at the highest standards at all times.
•    Maintaining membership records and agreed quality systems.
•    Organising health and safety fitness induction and exercise programmes. 

The job requires you to have knowledge and experience of working within a fitness environment. You should be reliable, able to work on your own initiative and as a member of a team.  

You will have a level 2 fitness qualification in gym instructing; have experience of working in a leisure environment, and knowledge of the planning and delivery of fitness assessments.

4 x Receptionists 
£8.06 per hour
Various hours available

Duties will include:-

•    Providing a friendly and efficient reception service.
•    Serving and dealing with customers in a friendly and efficient manner
•    Issuing activity tickets and associated cash handling using our electronic booking and payments system
•    Promoting the centre programme of activities and courses
•    Maintaining office records and agreed quality systems
•    Organising centre bookings including activities, football leagues, courses and memberships.
•    Dealing with telephone bookings and enquiries
•    Liaising with staff and centre customers as appropriate
•    Collecting, recording and compiling data both manually and electronically as required
•    Cash collection and reconciliation and security of reception areas in accordance with financial regulations

The job requires you to have knowledge of general reception procedures and experience of clerical/ reception duties and computerised systems. You should be reliable, able to work on your own initiative and as a member of a team.  Good communication skills are essential for dealing with the general public and staff members from other sections of the facility. Knowledge of quality systems and experience of reception duties would also be beneficial.

You should have experience in a reception environment with excellent communication and administrative skills, and cash register and computer skills.


2 x Tenpin and Catering Supervisors 
£8.06 per hour
37 hours per week 
20 hours per week

Duties will include:-

•    Day to day supervision of Ten Pin/catering staff.
•    Serving and dealing with customers in a friendly and efficient manner
•    Adhering to all relevant health and safety requirements
•    Ordering of stock, taking deliveries and maintaining stock records
•    Assisting with the organisation and delivery of children’s parties and facility bookings as required.
•    Assisting with food preparation to deliver the agreed catering menu ensuring that the highest standards are achieved.
•    Responsibility for ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer service at all times.
•    Issuing activity tickets and associated cash handling using our electronic booking and payments system
•    Promoting the centre programme of activities and courses
•    Dealing with telephone bookings and enquiries
•    Liaising with staff and centre customers as appropriate
•    Collecting, recording and compiling data both manually and electronically as required
•    Cash collection and reconciliation and security of reception areas in accordance with financial regulations

The job requires you to have knowledge of general catering and reception procedures and experience of working within a busy catering environment.
 

Temporary Tenpin and Catering Assistants 
6 month contract (Subject to review thereafter)
£6.83 per hour
Various hours available

Duties will include:-

•    Serving and dealing with customers in a friendly and efficient manner
•    Adhering to all relevant health and safety requirements
•    Assisting with the organisation and delivery of children’s parties and facility bookings as required.
•    Responsibility for ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer service at all times.
•    Issuing activity tickets and associated cash handling using our electronic booking and payments system
•    Promoting the centre programme of activities and courses
•    Dealing with telephone bookings and enquiries
•    Liaising with staff and centre customers as appropriate
•    Cash collection and reconciliation and security of reception areas in accordance with financial regulations

The job requires you to have knowledge of general catering and reception procedures and experience of working within a busy catering environment.

All roles will include evening and weekend working.
