As part of National Cholesterol Month the charity are touring the UK and will be stopping in Newcastle Upon Tyne on 30th October 2014.
Anyone can get their cholesterol tested and talk to the HEART UK experts about heart health and cholesterol.
HEART UK Dietetic Advisor, Linda Main, said: “Not everyone knows or understands their cholesterol level, so we want to test those people who have never had one, especially if they have close family members with raised cholesterol or early heart disease, or if they have other risk factors such as smoking or high blood pressure.
“Whether it’s being more physically active, improving your diet, stopping smoking or increasing your intake of cholesterol busting foods, we want to encourage everyone to adopt a healthy habit and get sponsored for it to help us continue with our life saving work.”
