In October 2016 and Janurary 2017 intu chapelfield teamed up with Sandra Reynolds Agency to discover exciting new modelling talent. 'Faces of the Fash Pack' was the perfect opportunity for aspiring models to be signed as professional models by Sandra Reynolds Agency to help them kick-start their modelling career.
After entering the competition created by intu Chapelfield and Sandra Reynolds Agency, two aspiring models could become the next iconic faces of fashion.
Rob Emblem, age 23, from Norwich and Evie Oliver, age 17 from Drayton were named Faces of the Fash Pack on Friday 17 March, as the Fashion Excess Show drew Norwich Fashion Week 2017 to a close.
Rob, who has no previous modelling experience, entered the competition at intu Chapelfield’s Faces of the Fash Pack LIVE event back in January, taking to the centre’s pop up catwalk to try out his runway skills. Evie did some modelling as a child but decided that Faces of the Fash Pack was the perfect opportunity to kick off her career as an adult model. After showing real potential both Rob and Evie made it to the Norwich Fashion Week shows, modelling alongside the professionals and proving they had the talent, look, commitment and confidence to take their career to the next level.
Impressing the panel of judges, made up of fashion experts from intu Chapelfield, Sandra Reynolds Model Agency and the board of Norwich Fashion Week, Rob and Evie now have the chance to work as models for real. Their prize includes a contract and training with Sandra Reynolds, professional head shots and an editorial model shoot in the next edition of intu Chapelfield’s fashion magazine.
Sheridan Smith marketing manager at intu Chapelfield said: “Rob and Evie impressed us the minute they stepped on the catwalk. They are complete naturals and have been handed a fantastic break to pursue a career as a professional model. They’ll be guided by the experts at Sandra Reynolds who work with some of the best in the fashion business, and we’ll be following their journey closely as they join the buzzing world of fashion.”
Emma Keal is from Sandra Reynolds Model Agency, one of the UK’s leading commercial model agencies. “The talent we discovered at Faces of the Fash Pack LIVE in January and the intu Chapelfield Student Night in October 2016 was extremely strong and we had lots more entries via email. Almost 20 aspiring models made it through to the Norwich Fashion Week shows and they should all be incredibly proud. These new faces walked shoulder to shoulder with our experienced professional models and helped us to put on a thrilling week of fashion shows. We look forward to working with Rob and Evie and having them on our books. And we’re sure that some of our other new faces will also have the opportunity to take part in photo shoots after doing so well at Norwich Fashion Week."
