Updated intu Gift Card FAQs

Looking to purchase or spend an intu Gift Card whilst social distancing? We've answered all your questions!

Where can I buy an intu Gift Card?
So that we can support social distancing guidelines, our customer service desk and tills are currently closed.  intu Gift Cards can be purchased using our self-service kiosks located on the lower ground mall outside Boots or on upper ground South Lane entrance opposite the customer service desk. Alternatively, you can still purchase a gift card online at https://intu.co.uk/chapelfield/gift-cards

How can I check my gift card balance?
You can check your balance using the balance checker at https://intu.co.uk/chapelfield/gift-cards, by calling our customer services team on 0844 774 4277 or by scanning the QR code on your smartphone or tablet. You can also check your balance by using our self-service kiosks.

I have been gifted a click and collect code via email, how can I collect my gift card?
Our customer service desk will be closed for the foreseeable future. You can collect your intu Gift Card by using our self-service kiosks or by speaking to a member of our customer service team who will be on-hand around the centre to help you collect your gift card.

My click and collect code has expired, what can I do?
You have 12 months from the date of purchase in which to exchange your click and collect code for a gift card. The gift card will then be valid for twelve months from the date of collection. As a result of the partial closure of intu Chapelfield over the last few months, we understand that you may have been unable to collect your gift card within this timeframe.  If this presents a challenge, please get in touch with our dedicated gift card customer services team on 0844 774 4277 or by email to customer.service@flex-e-card.com who will be happy to help you.

I would like to spend my gift card at a different centre than the name that appears on my gift card, how can I exchange it?
Our customer service desk and tills are currently closed.  However, please speak to a member of our customer service team on-hand around the centre who will be happy to safely exchange your gift card.

Can I have a refund?
The original purchaser of the gift card is entitled to a fourteen-day cooling off period. If you are the original purchaser and you wish to cancel your gift card please contact our dedicated gift card customer services team on 0844 774 4277 or by email to customer.service@flex-e-card.com who will be happy to refund the gift card in the same payment method they were received. Unfortunately, if you are outside of the fourteen-day cooling off period, we are unable to provide a refund.

I would like to redeem my gift club onto a gift card, how can I do this?
Our customer service desk and tills are currently closed. However, please speak to a member of our customer service team on-hand around the centre who will be happy to safely redeem your gift club onto an intu Gift Card.

My gift card has expired, are you extending expiry dates so I can spend it?
Our gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. As a result of the partial closure of intu Chapelfield over the last few months, we understand that you may have been unable to spend your gift card within this timeframe due to the expiry date.  If this presents a challenge with spending your gift card, please contact our dedicated gift card customer services team on 0844 774 4277 or by email to customer.service@flex-e-card.com who will be happy to help you.
