Friday 29 November - @traceymwilkinson
Our 12 Shopping Stars of Christmas campaign has reached it's final day and our Instagrammer is Tracey, aka @traceymwilkinson.
“My Instagram is mainly fashion based. Born in Norfolk, I’m fiercely proud of our fine city of Norwich and how we have a great mix of both independent shops and larger chains across the city.
“For me, giving Christmas presents is better than receiving. intu Chapelfield is a favourite place for me to shop because it’s all undercover for those wintry, rainy days with a great range of shops and restaurants. The fact I can get all my gifts under one roof and park there too makes the busy festive period so much easier!
Game, Pokemon gifts, from £3.99
“My boys, aged 12 and 11, love Pokemon and Game stocks a great range of Pokemon merchandise: from ‘Detective Pikachu’ plush toys to stocking fillers of Pokemon cards. Plus Pokemon bobble hats perfect for Boxing Day walks at £17.99”
Zara, bejewelled belts, from £17.99
“Gifts for the girls! Instagram has brought me so many new friendships and Zara’s bejewelled belts are so on trend. Perfect for the party season, they’ll elevate any outfit; especially for those New Year’s Eve parties!”
Clinton’s, Yankee Candle gifts from £4.99

HMV: Binge-watching Eats - Price: £7.99

Accessorize: Vintage pearl stud earrings set - Price: £8.00
“This elegant earring set is the perfect stocking filler for my sister. It features a faux-pearl within a gold-tone metal earring and a simple texture heart stud, perfect for daily wear. A simple, but beautiful gift perfect to fit into a stocking.”
River Island: Black croc embossed high heel ankle boots - Price: £55.00
“My best friend is always up to date with the latest fashion trends and these will be a perfect addition to her winter wardrobe for either day or night.”
Wednesday 27 November - @frolicandfro
Jingle my Bells! It’s very nearly December and really time you started ticking things off your festive shopping list.
Our penultimateChristmas Shopping Star is Emilee, who you can find on Instagram as @frolicandfro. Emilee is a travel and lifestyle blogger from Norwich who loves sharing family adventures with her followers, as well as women's and children's fashion.
“intu Chapelfield is always my first choice for Christmas shopping because you can find everything you need under one roof without stepping out into the cold! The multiple options available for a bite to eat or a quick coffee to refuel always helps too.”
Sole Trader - Men's Suede Boots - £74.99
“I chose these for my partner because they are exactly his style and are such great quality. They’ll see him through the winter weather.”
Oliver Bonas - Abuo Plant Pots and Stands - Short - £40, Tall - £55

“My daughter age six and nephew age seven absolutely love creating their own science experiments and love making a mess, so these kits will go down well on Christmas day.”
Tuesday 26 November - @kay_elle_kay
On the 26th day of November…our Christmas Shopping Star is Karen, aka @kay_elle_kay.
Karen is an Instagrammer from Norwich who is celebrating midlife. “I post daily pictures and stories of my style, my likes and my life. As shopping is my favourite hobby, my feed is predominantly fashion. I’m a huge fan of our great British High street.”
Karen came up with a fantastic Christmas shopping wish-list and we couldn’t narrow her suggestions down to just three.
“By Order of The Peaky Blinders”, The Works, £10
This is the closest I’ll ever get to hugging Cillian Murphy! I thought this book – “By Order of the Peaky Blinders” - would be ideal for my brother, a huge Peaky fan. This is the official companion to the TV series, featuring behind the scenes gossip, plus exclusive interviews with creator/writer Steven Knight, the cast and the production team.
Festive Pom Pom socks (£5) or Anti Stress Colouring book (£3) and felt tip pens (£1). I couldn’t decide between the two for my work Secret Santa. When there’s a maximum budget of £5, and you need something gender neutral, The Works is ideal for inexpensive, stocking filler type type gifts. I went with the socks in the end, who can resist a reindeer?
Nike Air Force 1, Schuh, £85
My son loves his trainers and has quite an extensive collection. Staff at Schuh were incredibly friendly and helpful, advising me that Nike Air Force 1’s are their most popular line. This style is leather, available in a choice of colours, with a chunky sole, and clever inter-changeable swoosh branding. I went for classic black at £85. The returns policy at Schuh is really generous too - a refund or exchange on unused items is available for up to a year, providing you keep the original receipt, which is excellent news is your Mum’s choice of trainers turns out to be rubbish. However, I’m very confident these will be keepers!
My god-daughter loves her hoops, the bigger the better. In a sea of silver, I thought these large rose gold plated hoops from Lovisa were a bit different. Sterling sliver should reduce the risk of allergies, as well as being better for sensitive ears. At just £17, I’m sure the Kardashians themselves would approve. Wrapped in black tissue and presented in a gift bag at no extra charge, it makes a gorgeous gift.
We think you’ll agree that Karen is definitely a Christmas Shopping Star! Make sure you check out her Instagram feed for daily style inspiration.
Monday 25 November - @kelly.chick
Its day nine of our online gift guide - 12 Shopping Stars of Christmas – and todays Shopping Star is Kelly.
On her Instagram feed (@kelly.chick) Kelly shares snippets of family life and her passion for health and nutrition. “This Christmas feels extra special now that my daughter is beginning to understand. I can’t wait to show her the Christmas lights at intu Chapelfield.”
Boots, Jimmy Choo, Fever eau de parfum, £43
“This is my mum’s favourite perfume and it smells divine. She deserves a special Christmas treat.”
Skinny Dip, Keep Cup, £14
“This is such a cute print and colour. My coffee obsessed best friend will love it as she’s always on the go. It’s the perfect stocking filler.”
Sports Direct, Puma trainers, £28
“My niece loves to match her mum who has the adult pair of these. She will love her pink version.”

It’s only a month until Christmas Eve so there’s no time to lose. It’s time to get organised! Sam Pavitt, aka @samuelpavitt, is our seventh Shopping Star of Christmas and the only guy in our group of super-shoppers.
“I’m a Suffolk-based Dad blogger, sharing our unadulterated journey through parenting. Like most busy dads, I have very limited time available for Christmas shopping. intu Chapelfield makes my life so much easier by having everything in one place - even parking!
“I decided to get myself organised this year, rather than leaving everything until the last minute.”
Tiger, plaster tin, £2
“The first gift I picked up was this little plaster tin from Tiger (@flyingtiger). It’s only £2 and is the perfect secret santa gift for one of my fishing buddies, who is always hooking himself!”
Ernest Jones, pendant, £75
“Next up, I took a look in Ernest Jones and knew that this exclusive Lucy Quartermaine pendant necklace would be a perfect gift for my wife.”
“Whilst in there, I thought it would be rude to not treat myself too so got this new leather/silver bracelet for a very reasonable £50.
House of Fraser, Biba bag, £45
“Finally, I headed over to House of Fraser where I spotted this Biba bag as another gift for my wife. It should complement the necklace nicely!”
We think that Sam’s wife is going to be very happy when she opens her gifts on Christmas morning! Hopefully he’s given you some shopping inspiration too.

Dionne is a fun and fashion-loving auxiliary nurse and part-time Instagrammer. “Growing up in a large extended family in the Caribbean was where my love for Christmas stemmed from. I love celebrating the true meaning of Christmas and, best of all, spending quality time with my loved ones.
“Sharing presents is just one of the highlights of Christmas Day for me and my family. I tend to make a list of items that my family and friends have mentioned through the year that they would love, and I get excited to purchase presents for them. intu Chapelfield, with its great variety of shops to choose from and great festive atmosphere, makes it my one stop destination when I am on my present hunt.”
Hugo Boss, H. Samuel - £159
“I chose this for as an everyday watch for my husband, as he has needed one for some time now.”
Levi’s, sweatshirt - £50
“My teenage son is getting into brand name activewear and loves black clothing, so he’ll definitely like this one.”
Thursday 21 November - @isthistooyoungforme
Our Shopping Star for 21st November is Korinna, aka @isthistooyoungforme.
Korinna is in the over-forty Instagram tribe and is one of the coolest mums on the block. “I love to share relatable fashion and lifestyle stories and finds. I like intu Chapelfield for its great selection of stores. I choose quality over quantity and I can always find brands and pieces I love in the centre."
LUSH coconut rice cake shampoo bar £8 and cork pot £7.50
“I love the little shampoo bars in LUSH, they smell so good and this one is so pretty! I bought a sustainable cork pot to store it in too. It’s the perfect treat for someone who enjoys a little pampering, but is environmentally conscious too.”
Hugo Boss t-shirts, from £65
“Classic Boss t-shirts never fail to hit the spot and are the perfect gift for my husband. The polo shirt is £69 and round necked t-shirt is £65.
Boux Avenue Sleep Set - £42
“My sister-in-law will love this cute sleep set: perfect for a super stylish breakfast in bed on Sunday.
Look out for Korinna in our December fashion spread in Norfolk Magazine.
Wednesday 20 November - @cookiecrumblesuk
Our third shopping star of Christmas is Cookie (aka @cookiecrumblesuk), a thirty-something, Norfolk- loving mother of two. Cookie is a teacher, small business owner and proud owner of two fur-babies; she’s also partner to the long-suffering Andy (her words, not ours 😊).
“My blog is full of honest reviews, things to do, parenting and lifestyle stories; all hopefully with a humorous edge. I hope my honest reviews of life in general will help put a smile on your face through one of the following: a) I’m glad it’s not just me, or b) I’m glad I’m not her!”
Cookie has selected a great selection of gifts to provide you with some shopping inspiration.
“Who doesn’t love posh chocolate? These little Tiddly Pots from Hotel Chocolat, in caramel, milk or dark chocolate, are the perfect stocking filler. Tiddly Pot, £2, Hotel Chocolat.
“Menkind is the ‘plaice’ to be for unusual and quirky gifts and it’s not just for the lads. Can you imagine the looks you would get on the Costa Del Sol as you flip flopped around in these flounders? Dad’s a keen fisherman what a great gift to ensure a giggle on Christmas day. Fish slippers, £12.99, Menkind.
“I can’t be the only one who orders myself a slushie along with the kids can I? Now I can have this nostalgic piece of kit in my home. Just imagine the mum-points you’ll earn when friends come round for tea!” Slush Puppie machine, £45.00, Menkind.
“There’s so much choice at Claire’s, with hair bands in an array of colours and styles. They can make even the messiest mum bun look presentable. My favourite was this mustard number.” Yellow hairband, £5.50, Claire's.
“Drones! I know they are on most little boys’ and big boys’ Christmas lists and Menkind have a great selection. Andy definitely wants one, and this FPV Eagle drone is Menkind’s best-seller. Andy will definitely have to share his new toy though, as the foldable drone takes photos and videos. My Instagram is about to fly!” Menkind, drone, £69
Tuesday 19 November - @cheripavitt
Cheri is a family lifestyle blogger who loves fashion but also has a passion for the great outdoors.
“I am super excited for Christmas this year as I love buying presents for others. intu chapelfield is my favourite place to Christmas shop as, which so many shops to choose from, there is something for everyone.”
“The first gift I chose was a plated charm necklace from Lisa Angel, available in gold, silver or rose gold. At £16 for a large or £12 for a small, I opted for a beautiful gift box for just £4 to make it extra special. Included in this price you have the option to have the necklace hand stamped giving it that personal touch.
“My second gift is from Office: a pair of glittery Converse sneakers, exclusive to Office. £33.99. My daughter is going to love these!
“Lastly, I chose a Secret Santa present. Also from Lisa Angel, I opted for this really funky cork screw for just £4.”
Monday 18 November - @dinky1711
The first of intu Chapelfield’s 12 Shopping Stars of Christmas is the very lovely Laura, aka @dinky1711 on Instagram.
Laura is a busy working mother of two children aged five and nine. She documents their adventures together and shares her love for Norfolk, and all that it has to offer on Instagram and on her blog www.dinkypix.com. “We love the festive season as it is intrinsically linked with quality family time and seasonal outings. Our two still believe in the magic of Christmas and we love nothing more than the build up to the big day as the nights draw in.
“We enjoy shopping for their gifts as much as they enjoy writing their letters to Father Christmas; intu Chapelfield offers the best shopping experience in Norwich.
The first gift I chose was an Anna and Elsa doll set from the Disney Store costing £30. This was for my daughter, who as a lover of the Disney franchise, enjoyed her first cinema experience marvelling at the first film and has been collecting the Classic dolls ever since.
The second gift is a Brillante Coffee Grinder from the Barista range by Cuisinepro for my husband from House costing £15. He needs a strong cup of coffee most mornings to put a spring in his step as we prepare for our adventures.
My final choice was a space-scented alphabet keyring for our son as a stocking filler from Smiggle. Costing £5, this was bought to attach to his school bag to stand out from all the others.
