Midlands four-piece Peace visit hmv at intu Chapelfield on Friday 13th February at 5pm to perform live and sign copies of their new album ‘Happy People’.
Mostly produced by Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian) with additional production by Duncan Mills (Malcolm McLaren, Crocodiles), Peace release the eagerly anticipated follow up to 2013’s ‘In Love’. ‘Happy People’ sees the band returning with an ambitious spirit and bigger sound which has the potential to touch the lives of millions. Frontman Harry Koisser explains, “I think it’s because we’ve got such short attention spans that we just always want to do something new and exciting. It’s not that we get bored exactly, it’s just that we want to try something different.” The record was written whilst Peace toured globally in support of their debut album. The band’s world opened up allowing them to draw influence from weird experiences and new places, which has given ‘Happy People’ a strong sense of adventure.
Peace will be playing at Norwich’s Epic Studios (12th February) as part of their sell out UK Tour.
