Halloween is creeping up and intu Chapelfield has some spook-tacular family activities lurking around the corner with its half term Kids’ Club. From Wednesday 25 October to Sunday 29 October children will be able to enjoy fun, Halloween-themed crafts as well as taking part in the Big Trick or Treat. And to round it all off there’s the chance to vote for the ‘best in show’ at the annual retailer pumpkin competition.
Kids’ Club October half-term – all 10am - 4pm, Lower Ground Mall outside Boots
The Big Trick or Treat weekend
Little monsters are invited to grab a Halloween bucket and enjoy Trick or Treating in a safe (and warm) environment with intu Chapelfield’s Big Trick or Treat! Collect sweet treats from participating retailers and get into the spooky spirit with a super-scary costume. Buckets are free with optional donations to Break, a Norfolk charity which supports children, young people and families.
To take part, collect a Halloween bucket from the Kids’ Club area on the Lower Ground Mall (outside Boots) from 11am on Saturday and Sunday. Buckets will be issued on a first come, first served basis so arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Those looking to get crafty are also invited to make their own Halloween bat clips, perfect for holding your spooky bits and pieces together.
All intu Chapelfield Kids’ Club activities are free for registered members. Remember to bring membership cards on the day. Or to join, sign up online.
Retailer pumpkin carving competition
The annual retailer pumpkin carving competition is hard-fought by intu Chapelfield stores, with designs getting more elaborate each year. Previous winners have included Apple in 2015 and Auntie Anne’s in 2016. Not only will the crazy creations be on display for all to see in centre, but shoppers are also encouraged to vote for their favourite design on intu Chapelfield’s Facebook page for a chance to win a £25 intu Gift Card.
- and don't forget to tweet and Instagram us pictures of your child's finished masterpieces, we'd love to see them - @intuChapefield.
