Like you we are thrilled that the £86 million transformation of intu Broadmarsh is well underway, but did you know that throughout the redevelopment, the centre, the historic City of Caves and our fantastic stores will all remain open until the grand unveiling of our new centre in summer 2021?

So, there’s no need to wait until 2021 to pick up that new purse or try the perfect pastie. Read on to hear all about the whole host of stores that are open as normal in the centre offering you the best in homeware, entertainment, food, fashion and more!

With the vinyl revival taking over the nation, Fopp is one of the few places to get your hands on records to add to your collection and is one of the best shops in the city to browse music, films, books and technology. The staff are real experts when it comes to music, art and culture and can always be counted on to make recommendations suited to your taste.

2 Magpies Design is an interior design shop with its very own upcycling workshop in the back, where owner Clare Newman customises vintage and modern furniture with her quirky sense of style. Expect bright splashes of colour, bold floral prints and lots and lots of gold. Clare also offers an interior design service for those needing a helping hand when it comes to decorating their house.

Wilko, which was founded in the East Midlands, has been ‘helping families get stuff done’ for over 85 years. The store that saw a £1m investment in 2017, is a firm favourite for local shoppers for DIY, stationery, gardening tools, homeware and kitchen goods.

Sharps is the UK’s leading fitted bedroom furniture designer, which specialises in wardrobes for bedrooms, home offices and those awkward spaces. Its team of expert designers create beautifully organised furniture that can be made bespoke to your space.

One of Nottingham’s best tourist attractions, the City of Caves are part of a hidden maze of over 500 original sandstone caves underneath Nottingham, which date back to the Dark Ages. The caves have an air raid shelter, remnants of Victorian slums and England’s only medieval underground tannery. Great for history buffs and fun for all the family.
