Broadmarsh Car Park Redevelopment Works

From Monday 7th August 2017, Broadmarsh Car Park closed to make way for a brand new car park, due for completion in 2019.

Alternative car parking arrangements are available across the city:

By train

Nottingham (National Rail): There are frequent rail services to Nottingham station, which is an easy three minute walk to/from the centre along Carrington Street.

By tram

Operated by Nottingham Express Transit, the Tram network provides fast and frequent links from/to areas in both the north and south of the city. Services operate from approximately 0500-0100 (to 0000 on Sundays) every 3-5 minutes at peak times, every 7-10 minutes at off-peak times.

Nearest stops:

Park and Ride facilities are available at Hucknall and Phoenix Park to the north (around 20-25 mins travel time), and at Toton Lane and Clifton South (around 20-30 mins travel time) to the south of the city.

By bus

Broadmarsh Bus Station Redevelopment Works

From Sunday 9th July, Broadmarsh Bus Station closes its doors to make way for a shiny new bus station and car park. The work is expected to last for two years.

During the construction programme, Trent Barton buses and National Express coach services will relocate to the surrounding streets - Collin Street, Canal Street and Station Street - whilst some Trent Barton services are relocated to Friar Lane, Beastmarket Hill and Mount Street which are not in close proximity to the centre.

Centrelink (Nottingham Community Transport) services are relocated and will be FREE to use between intu Victoria Centre and Nottingham Station, fares still apply for journeys from/to Queen's Drive P&R:

  • Towards the City Centre and intu Victoria Centre - depart from Nottingham Station (stop S5) or Maid Marian Way (stops C9 & M5)
  • Towards Queen's Drive P&R - depart from Crown Court (stop C11) or Nottingham Station (stop S4)

Nottingham City Transport services 34, 77, 78 and 79 relocate from Collin Street stop C6 to C1.

Trent Barton will be providing on-street teams to help advise customers of the revised arrangements.

Nottingham City Council and Trent Barton ticket offices will be closed, with alternative facilities available at our bus station at intu Victoria Centre.

By bike

Nottingham has a great network of off-road cycle routes criss-crossing the city. intu Broadmarsh is close to the 'Big Track' cycle route along the canal path.

Cycle parking can be found outside our Cliff Road entrance.

By taxi

Local taxis are available outside our Collin Street entrance just over the road.
