Reporting to: Assistant Marketing Manager
Objectives of Role
To deliver compelling marketing campaigns that drive footfall, as well as retailer sales and market share for intu Braehead while consistently working for the benefit of Intu Properties Plc
Areas of Responsibility
Plan and deliver events, promotions and service initiatives, to achieve marketing objectives in line with the overall strategy for the centre and intu.
Brief and liaise with external agencies, to produce creative and compelling advertising, PR, digital and promotional campaigns that will drive footfall and repeat visits to the centre.
Work with the Assistant Marketing Manager to implement the digital marketing strategy, using the website, e-shots and social media to create and develop original and engaging content across all digital platforms.
Assist with the management of the centre's website using the content management system.
Work with the Assistant Marketing Manager to use the centre's database as a tool for segmentation and communication in order to drive registration.
Regularly communicate with stores through regular retailer forums and face-to-face visits, to ensure that they are fully aware of upcoming initiatives or opportunities to get involved in centre activities and are fully engaged with the available marketing support.
Develop promotions and incentive schemes, in line with marketing and business objectives, to increase gift card sales.
Continually evaluate all marketing campaigns and activities to ensure they remain within budget and can demonstrate a return on investment.
Provide timely and appropriate responses to customer communication received through the centre website and all social media sites - including enquiries and requests for information from students.
Assist with the editing and production of the centre's customer magazine, with particular emphasis on engaging retailer support.
Where appropriate, assist with the implementation of the centre's PR strategy. PR activities should always drive additional awareness for intu where possible.
To collate and store all press and media cuttings, and distribute to the centre and wider intu teams as appropriate.
Coordinate the production of the centre's staff magazine.
Assist with the management of print production and centre literature.
Assist with the implementation of a Corporate Responsibility plan, that addresses the needs of the community in line with the corporate objectives. Communicate regularly with the intu CR team in relation to ongoing initiatives and local CR campaigns.
Manage all aspects of charitable collections, recruitment drives etc, within the centre, including maintaining a diary of events
Where appropriate, to plan and implement a strategy, in line with the marketing and business objectives, to attract tourists to the centre and encourage repeat visits.
Assist with the management of the Merchants/Tenants Association in conjunction with the General Manager, Marketing Manager and Administrator.
Provide administrative support to the marketing team.
Any other duties as appropriate.
To ensure compliance with the company's Health & Safety Policy.
To work collectively with other intu centres to identify examples of best practice across the group, then work together to roll out these concepts within other centres.
To comply with corporate policies and procedures.
