intu Braehead is now seeking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be responsible for the delivery of reactive and planned preventative maintenance to the centres air conditioning systems, hold and cold water systems, air handling units, fan coils and associated mechanical plant. As a multi-skilled engineer you will also be required to carry out general maintenance to electrical systems where needed. The suitable candidate will work as part of an in house technical services team carrying out maintenance to ensure that operational effectiveness of the centre is maintained. Suitable candidates will be required to maintain accurate site records and documentation and work with in the SLA and KPI's for breakdowns and repairs and adhere to health and safety policy at all times.

In order to be successful in this position it is anticipated that candidate's will be qualified in a relevant mechanical City and Guilds or NVQ level 2 or 3 and preferably hold, hold, City and Guilds 2079, F Gas Certificate. In addition candidates will have at least three years' experience working in a building services maintenance environment. Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate substantial knowledge of working across a wide range of building services equipment. They will be able to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of fault finding and diagnostics on mechanical systems and have excellent customer services and team working skills.

Candidates must be prepared to work on a split day shift rota covering early and late shifts, and weekends on a rota basis with additional on call duties when required.
