The Control Room Co-Ordinator will report to the Control Room Supervisor for the support, coordination and delivery of the data control room operation in the centre.
The CRO will ensure exemplary standards of security and customer service are provided to the Client, Customers and visitors to the centre at all times.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
This role will include a variety of tasks including the following:
• Follow all control room procedures in line with the CCTV codes of practice
• As part of a team of operators (CRO) their task is to ensure that company procedures are followed and adhered to at all times
• To liaise closely with statutory authorities/CRS in dealing with incidents and the provision of information
• Continuous proactive management and monitoring of CCTV screens/systems and associated specialist security equipment
• Continual monitoring of site radio systems
• Proactive monitoring and surveillance of suspect individuals logging and reporting incidents in line with site/company policies
• Controlling and prioritising incidents ensuring all key personnel are kept fully informed at all times
• Diligent maintenance of records / reference materials including Health & Safety records, Incident Forms and the site VTAS logging system
• Ensuring strict compliance to the Data Protection Act and associated regulations
• Manage and monitor all access control systems
• Support the CRS in ensuring standards are continually reviewed and improved upon
• Help maintain standards and welfare amongst all team members in accordance with the company policies and values
• Report to the CRS any events that may be detrimental to the fulfilment of the provision of the security site
• Support the CRS to ensure the necessary security audits are undertaken and any non-compliance highlighted and managed to completion
• To maintain excellent relations with our client, our supports and other partners
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business

Qualifications and experience
• Successful track record of delivering security solutions to internal client base
Previous experience of team management within a security or customer service role
• Dual SIA licensed (CCTV/Manned Guarding)
• Computer Literate
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Experience of working in a retail environment
• IOSH trained
• Well-developed I.T Skills

• Must have highly developed skills and a successful track record of maintaining strong client relationships
• Ability to focus on best practise, the co-ordinator will use his/her creative approach and personality to influence at all levels, leading his/her team to meet demanding targets and deadlines
• Experience within teams where motivation and development have been key drivers
• Demonstrable experience of developing operational solutions for successful business development
• Computer literate
• Excellent Leadership skills
• Excellent communication, verbal and written with attention to detail
• Ability to work unsupervised and take to responsibility/proactivity
• Aptitude to remain calm under pressure
