This free easy to use facility is ideal for disabled customers who require assistance changing, when visiting intu Braehead. Registration is easy, simply bring along two forms of ID, such as a passport and utility bill, fill in the membership form at the customer service desk on the upper mall and we'll issue you with your membership card. We have 650 designated parking spaces spread over all our car parks. Most are sites within easy reach of the main entrances. Centre Security personnel patrol the car parks and will deal with any parking abuse of the spaces set aside for customers with disabilities.
intu Braehead has a dedicated Shopmobility Centre. You can access shopmobility on level 1A of the Blue Car Park. Wheelchairs and other mobility options are available free of charge and staff are always on hand to offer specialist advice on your needs. You can take your pick from a range of standard and powered wheelchairs, as well as powered scooters.
Customers who shop regularly might like to register with us. This allows you the added facility of being able to book wheelchairs in advance and reserve a car parking space if you are hiring mobility equipment.

We offer a free guided shopping service for customers with a visual impairment. The service is available between 10am and 12 noon on the first Thursday of every month. Our trained guides will help you find your way around the mall and can offer detailed descriptions of anything you’re planning to buy.

Driving an Electric Vehicle? No problem! We have installed charge points in two of our car parks for you to use. Here’s what you do:
In our Green Car Park (near M&S), we have a 50kW rapid charging point with DC and AC connections. Great if you’re in a hurry (not that we want you to leave of course!) but please only use this for 30 minutes so others can make use of it as well. We also have four 7kW Type 2 charging points here as well for when you’re spending lots of time with us.
To use these charge points you will need to register with 'Charge Your Car' network on their website at http://chargeyourcar.org.uk/ev-driver/ or download their app. We recommend you register for the CYC service prior to arriving on site and download the app as well, it’s handy to have a back-up.
If you find one of these points out of action, please call Charge Your Car on 0191 265 0500 to report this and give them the reference number on front of the charge point. If you can, please also inform us as well, just so we can keep an eye on it.
If you find all the charge points in the Green are busy, we have two 3-pin charge points on Level 1A of our Blue Multi Storey Car Park (behind Primark, next to the reserved Shopmobility spaces). These are operated by a key fob which is held in our Shopmobility office and can be borrowed for a £10 returnable deposit.
Please note these points are only available during our Shopmobility hours: 10am-9pm Monday-Friday, 9am-6:30pm Saturday and 10am-6pm Sunday.
