Lift access changes

From Monday 13 June 2016, there will be no lift access in Charter car park from level 2 in to the centre.

We would advise customers with a disability or those with children and push chairs to park in Palace car park, which is accessible via the same route from the ring road as Charter car park. For customers continuing to park in Charter car park, you can access the centre via the Beechen Grove stairwell. This stairwell is located by the exit barrier on each level. Alternatively you can use the footpath to cross over in to Palace car park to enter the centre as normal.

Palace Theatre customers that require lift access should park in Palace car park during intu Watford's opening hours. For those visiting out of hours, please use either Sutton, Church or Gade town centre car parks (NB: these town centre car parks are not managed by intu Watford).

All other lift access routes in to the centre will remain unchanged. We appreciate your patience and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We are making changes to our car parks

We'll be sprucing up our car parks and giving them a spring clean from March 2016. During this time there may be disruptions to the car parks involving some levels being closed off as we carry out the necessary works. Please note that Queen's level 3 will be closed until 24 April 2016. From Monday 25 April, Queens levels 2 and 3 will be closed. All other levels will be open and disruptions will be kept to an absolute minimum - we really appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time.

Part of the new equipment upgrade, which was completed in March 2016, will see dedicated card only payment machines installed to help cut down on queuing time for those who wish to pay for their parking by card. There will also be the ability for you to use contactless card payment - the contactless points are located to the right hand side of the chip and pin keypad. As always, if you have any problems at all at the payment points, at the barriers or anywhere else in our car parks, simply press on the help button (located at pay machines, barriers and around the car parks themselves) and a member of our staff will gladly assist you.

Parent and Child

Our car parks provide easy, safe and direct access into the centre for shoppers with little ones. There are 40 Parent and Child spaces across our 4 car parks.

Disabled parking

We have 59 spaces reserved especially for disabled shoppers across our 4 car parks. Please ensure you have a valid disabled badge on display when parking in one of our disabled spaces.

Electric Car Charging

You can find an electrical parking point on Level 1 of Queens car park.
