We want to make sure your visit to intu Potteries is an enjoyable one. Please see below the range of facilities and services that we offer:

Customer services


Information pods are situated around the centre:
- Upper Mall: by SOLETRADER
- Middle Mall: by the main entrance and outside Topshop
- Lower Mall: outside New Look.

Our Customer Services Desk is located on the Upper Mall by JD Sports and SOLETRADER. Our friendly and helpful staff offer a first class service including:
• Gift card sales and enquiries
• Centre leaflets: Shopping Guide and What's On Guide.
• Free wheelchair hire
• Lost and found property
• Local tourism information
• Electric car charging cable and tag to use in the electric charging bays located in the multi-storey car park.
• First Aid including Defibrillator

Baby changing and feeding rooms are available with nappy vending machines if required and can be found located on Level 6 (Roof Mall) next to the toilets, or within Debenhams by their childrenwear department. We have a dedicated room for breastfeeding.

Call the helpline number 08444 48 42 30, speak to a member of security or go to the Customer Services Desk on the Upper Mall.

Write your mobile number on a wristband for your child to wear while shopping. You can collect the free wristbands from the Customer Services Desk which is located on the Upper Mall.


intu Potteries has 23 dedicated Parent & Child car parking bays on its multi-storey car park on levels 6C and 4, close to the entrances, to make it easier for parents with children to park and access the centre. Standard car parking charges apply.

First aid

Our security staff are trained in first aid skills, and will assist on request. A defribrilator is kept at the Customer Services Desk.


Lifts are located on all floors.

Stairs & Escalators

Escalators are located throughout the centre.


Gents, Ladies, Disabled toilets and Baby Change can be found on Level 6 (Roof Mall) by Next menswear. There are also toilets available  within Debenhams by their childrenswear department.

Disabled toilets can be found on Level 6 (Roof Mall) by Next menswear.

Cash machines

We have three cash machines in the centre. All are free to use.

They are located:
1. Upper Mall by the Customer Services Desk
2. Middle Mall by Millies Cookies
3. Middle Mall by Topshop

Personal shopper

Debenhams offer a personnal shopper service. For more information, please contact Andrea on 01782 267076.


Do you have a disability which has stopped you getting around the city centre? Then Shopmobility could be just what you need.

Shopmobility is located at Birch Terrace car park near the bus station. Open from 10am on Tuesday 8th April.

Unfortunately we no longer have any public telephones.



With over 900 parking spaces, including designated spaces for disabled shoppers and parent and child bays, parking could not be easier at intu Potteries. We've been awarded the Park Mark Secure Car Park Award for the 11th year running.

Parent & Child Parking Bays

The multi storey car park opens at 8am Monday to Saturday and closes an hour after the Centre closes, so 6.30pm Monday to Saturday and Thursday at 9pm. On Sunday the car park opens at 9am and closes at 5pm.
Please note times may vary due to seasonal opening hours and extended store trading times.

The Car Parking charges are:
Monday to Saturday £1.20 per hour (or part thereof) maximum charge £10.
Weekdays after 4pm £1.50 for the duration.
Sunday maximum charge £1.50.
Entrances to the car park can be found on Quadrant Road.


You can pay for your parking using a credit or debit card, so don't worry if you haven't got any change.


Free Electric Vehicle Charging Points
Customers are able to recharge their electric cars during the course of a normal shopping trip.
The 2 bays are located on Level 1 of the multi-storey car park. No pre-booking is necessary.


Public transport

intu Potteries is well served by bus with services from many areas. There are bus stops right outside the centre and the city centre bus station is only 10 minutes walk away.
Bus stops for the centre can be found on Quadrant Road and Stafford Street.

On Foot
There are four entrances into the centre. They can be found on Market Square, Town Road, Quadrant Road and Stafford Street.

By Taxi
The taxi rank is on Stafford Street by The Body Shop.

By Train
The nearest railway station is Stoke-on-Trent.
There are regular train services from Crewe, Stafford, Derby, Macclesfield, Stafford and Wolverhampton.
From there you can catch one of the many frequent buses from the bus stop outside the station, the journey time being less than 10 minutes.

By Cycle or Motorbike
Free cycle racks are available around the outside of the centre. Cycles are not permitted in the centre.
Cycling is good for you and for the environment. It's fast, convenient, gives you freedom and independence. It is reliable and takes you from door to door.

Click & Collect is available from the Customer Services Desk, please ask a member of the team for more information.

Other facilites

Shop on Amazon? Our Amazon lockers have moved from the car park lift lobby to their new location on the escalator landing between the Middle Mall and Lower Mall, just down the steps/escalator from River Island and H Samuel.


When buying from Amazon choose Click & Collect and from the location, choose Flax at intu Potteries as the location.
