Customer services

Information Points

Customer service is very important to us. To help you enjoy your time shopping with us, we offer a range of customer services.

Whether you’re struggling to carry your new purchases or are looking for that perfect gift, help is at hand. Our Concierge team can assist with a variety of queries.

You can find our dedicated Concierge team on Level 1 near Debenhams at their Concierge Desk. The team members are knowledgeable, not only about intu Derby's stores and services, but Derby city centre as a whole as staff members carry out regular job swapping with staff at Derby's Tourist Information Centre.

Parent & baby rooms

We know that finding somewhere clean and comfortable to take care of the little ones is a priority on any shopping visit. So at intu Derby, we have catered for your needs with our Parent Rooms.

We have four Parent Rooms, all with changing facilities, private areas for feeding and child-sized sinks and toilets. They also offer a mix of other family-friendly services including play areas and bottle warmers.

They are located:
1. Between M&S and Debenhams on Level 1
2. Copecastle Square on Level 1 near Sainsbury's
3. A dedicated parent room in the kids’ mall on Level 1 near Playworld
4. Near Eat Central on Level 2

On the walls in the parent room near Playworld, you will find canvas printed copies of designs submitted for use in our mural painting as part of our public art programme. Get more information on this art programme here.

In addition to these dedicated facilities, the male and female toilets offer a pull down changing facility on Level 1 between M&S and Debenhams as well as in Copecastle Square and additionally on Level 2 at Eat Central.

Tiny Taxis

You can pick up a Kiddy Car from the Concierge team, located on Level 1 near Debenhams. The cost of hiring a Kiddy Car is only £2 and we just ask that you return the cars to us half an hour before the stores close.

Please note: a form of photographic ID with your address information will need to be left as a deposit.

We will make sure your child is the right height for our cars by measuring them against our height chart.

Next time you come to the centre, make life even easier by getting a Kiddy Car driver’s licence. Simply bring a form of ID and your child will be issued with their very own Driving Licence, enabling easy Kiddy Car hire each time you shop at a Westfield managed centre.

If you would like your licence to include a photo just bring either a passport photo or any 1.2” x 1.6” size photo of your child to our Concierge team, and they will add this onto the licence.

Application details and further information are available from the Concierge team.
